20lb Premium Ice Melt Blend Scotwood Industries EOC

I think the product works well for the cost and it seem to clear out all the ice from the driveway or turn it into slush to scrape off the driveway so i keep buying it I've tried other brands and it looks like they done nothing to the ice on the ground even poured a pile on ice check later the ice is still there solid but this brand I spread it out and check later its slush so I keep using this brand until i find 1 that works better every so often I'll try a new brand but so far this works best for me

My daughter spread the ice melt on my porch and steps. the ice on the porch melted, however, when the snow came, of course it covered since I am unable to go out I am waiting for someone to come and remove the snow. I am sure it will be an easy job with no ice underneath.

I am so surprised by how well this ice melt works, especially for the price! Our driveway isn't very long and when I salt I go from the top of the driveway to the bottom of the driveway and by the time I am finishing salting and walking back up, I can already see it working and melting the ice.

the bag is very thick I cut it open then scooped up salt in my 16oz bucket and salted my steps side walk and back areas. this year is supposed to be a rough winter so I got the three bags less than $20 for 60lbs ! great deal. the calcium is what's going the heavy lifting in here along w some magnesium in a sodium chloride base it's much easier to salt the pavement right before it snows then you don't get the ice and if you even need to shovel it's comes right up. it's been colder than 20f the last couple of days and still have some salt not melted on the pavement I tossed down 2 days ago. there still snow in grass to give you in idea. I have 2 small dogs and their paws are fine I was able to scatter small area in the backyard for them which also has snow and ice free thanks to this salt. we have some areas where the concrete likes to puddle and cause ice. last year I was NOT prepared my landlord didn't take care of it like he was supposed and slipped 3 times last winter I don't want to do that again this is much easier to just salt if you're not sure it's 6$ take a change you'll be glad I'm sore it help driveways to pull in and out I watch others who don't salt slide around dave yourself the trouble seriously get the salt I do not see the composition which I'd like to know I've seen calcium Florida bkkeds in other bands 5-25% most on the lower end but definitely happy

I keep mine in a 5 gallon bucket with an old measuring cup for a scoop. 2 cups does my 30 foot handicapped ramp. Even when it's below zero I shovel the ramp and apply. When the temperature is below freezing I still apply because it's gritty enough to keep you from slipping. Live in Michigan and use 2 bags a year.

This stuff melts snow %26 ice like nobody's business. Put on your steps, driveway, or walkway (but not your food— it's not the kind of salt you put on food.) If you're not busy you can sprinkle around the property and pull up a chair and watch it work its magic! It's like throwing water on the wicked witch and watching her melt. This great stuff to keep everyone safe and avoid slip, falls, and insurance claims. Great price too! Strong recommend. Thank you.

This Ice Melt is a great deal. My roof leaks all over my front steps since my eave trough broke off last Summer. My steps turn into a total mess and end up covered in an inch or more of ice. This salt works well even at low temperature. Now I do not worry I am going to fall and break my neck when I take my dogs out. Plus, I do not want a delivery person to fall and get hurt delivering my purchases.

Whenever the temps go up n down and flakes come n go, its good to have near by. Here lately, the ice n snow seem to be coming in ovènight , so i layer my sidewalks before bed. i hate to wake up to "black ice"! Im too old for falls. This stuff is a miracle worker. As soon as the air begins to warm the grounds begin to clear.👍🏻

This ice melt blend is OK but I won't buy it again. I do not like that the ice melt rocks are big pieces and it does not spread well unless you use a ton of it. Beware, it tracks everywhere, including in to the house. Especially if everyone in your home is wearing winter boots with treads. I will say it's not a total waist because it does what it's supposed to do.

I can't rate it because it was never delivered by your Portage location. They gave me the runaround about why it wasn't delivered I still do not have the product as of Saturday the 14th. I'm sure that the ice melt works awesome but I don't have it to test it!
