20V MAX Lithium-Ion 12 in. Cordless String Trimmer/Edger Kit (1.5 Ah)

I can't say enough good things about this product. Easy to assemble. I have two terraces to my back yard, which is heavily landscaped. I use the edging option. I work it hard, and it always gets the job done beautifully. Also, it is lightweight and very easy on the low back. I have another one that I bought six years ago, and it is still going strong, but needed another one as my landscaping expands. Love this product.

I had one previous to this one previous to this one for years. It's lightweight and easy to maneuver. I like that it has two speeds the spool is easy to replace the battery packs last pretty long time I'm happy with the product

Lightweight and easy to use. I've had another one of these for years but the string advance quit working. Took it to my son's house and got myself a new one.

I definitely thought that this would have more power . I have a tiny yard but went through both batteries. The grass was a little thick . I'd say the batteries last about 15 minutes on full power.. , so 30 minutes for both .

only 1 battery works. i had 4 different people test and try to get the other one to work. its dead. wont charge. very disappointed. 1 battery on low only lasts about 15 minutes. then i gotta recharge for 4 hours. i will try to contct company agaun and update if i get satisfaction of a new battery that works.

The batteries don't last long even on the power saving mode. My 18V weed eater was more powerful and lasted longer. Don't try to cut really overgrown areas. This thing is too weak to tackle those. Plus, I'm not a fan of trigger unlock button.

After reading the reviews I was careful to purchase the full price shipped and sold by BD and not the one $8 cheaper and thought the reviewers who got a refurb weren't careful. Sadly while the box looked pristine when I opened the batteries were loosely packed (no bag) on top and dusty. Didn't open further but the Walmart associate said it looked used (which is awkward - a Plus Member buying new on walmart.com should never have to consider that). Then on return the refund is delayed when it's a "Marketplace" purchase. Please remove this item Walmart - this seems pretty consistent and I would think someone would notice the reviews and returns.

If you want this product, get it from someone who has it in stock. I ordered mine through wal-mart and wal-mart got the order right, but Black Decker Wherehouse sent me the wrong model and when I called Black Decker they couldn't help me, even though there Wherehouse personal are the ones that sent the wrong model ! Now I have to wait for a refund to order a new one. I will not do that! When I get my refund I'll go to Home Depot where they have it in stock.

The product is great! For as long as it lasts anyway, I've bought 3 of them in two years and the last one last all of 30 minutes. At that point I was done with Black %26 Decker.

Both batteries that it came with won't work. We just purchased a new battery and we're going to see if it will work if it doesn't then there's something wrong with the weedeater.
