Skil is the greatest secret in DIY Homeowner/Semi-pro cordless tools. The ability and performance of these tools is far above those of cheaper brands like Hyp*rTo*gh. Spend a bit more for a more capable tool that will not fail or disappoint you, and that includes a real warranty with up to 5 years of coverage. I am finished spending money on cheap cordless tools that do not perform well or last, and are backed up with a real warranty. Skil is manufactured under the Chervon Corp name and is considered one of the best-engineered tools out there.
I had some tasks coming up, and while I own a decent battery screw/drill, I was going to be drilling some brick. I bought the Skil batty drill/screw/hammer tool, looking to avoid employing extension cords and my hammer drill. The rough textured brick was tough, but I hammer-drilled three anchor holes, and mounted a new outside light. That evening, I climbed up into the attic, and screwed in some long-delayed boards. The PWR CORE kit had everything I needed for both jobs, except drywall screws and the included plastic anchors. The newly charged battery did it all without lagging, and the motor had plenty of power.
Just as easy to use as the PWR Core 12, but a noticeable increase in power. Pride of ownership absolutely there. SKIL stands behind its products 3000%.
Perfect size for my crafty, home interior project. Light and easy to charge!
Works great and the price was excellent . Just what I needed
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The SKIL - PWR CORE 20™ Brushless 20V 1/2 IN. Compact Hammer Drill Kit is an excellent addition to my power tools. I have needed a drill that is able to drill through tough things such as brick and wood. This has exceeded my expectations on a drill. The drill has two different lights settings that is great for when your drilling in a dark area. The battery life lasts a long time. Overall this is an excellent drill and would absolutely recommend to everyone.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This compact hammer drill is one of the best ones I have ever use! You can tell it's made with some amazing materials! Very strong and powerful drill! It gets any job I need done, done! Super easy to attach to the charger!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love this. Such an upgrade over my previous one and it's hard to emphasize how much better it is than my last drill. Also love the light on the front when it is in use, great for when you're working in a darker area.
I aquired the Skill power Core 20 V 1/2 cordless hammer drill to keep in my camper for any emergancies that my come up while camping. Have not really had any jobs to do with it yet but my Dad used corded Skill saws and drill tools as a carpenter for his livelyhood!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Hard to put a socket on it was machined wrong, poor quality control. Have to use pliers to pull it off and a hammer to push it on
