I bought this book after borrowing it from the library. My family and I already eat healthy meals and limit our intake of animal products so the kickstart plan was easier for me to do than if I had been where I was years ago, a full-fledged junk-food junkie and meat and dairy consumer. I did the kick start program because I was starting to stray from my healthy food habits into the land of junk. The recipes are great and I have not tried one yet that I dislike. During the program I lost almost 5 pounds, putting me at my perfect weight. As I mentioned, I already eliminated meat from my diet so the big challenge for me was the removal of eggs and cheese. The recipes provided were so good I didn't miss those items at all! I think this book is great. It will provide you with the information you need to change your eating habits and possibly your life and health.
