This spray has a light orange smell, which I didn't know at first if cats would react to, but the information I read online was useful, cats hate the smell of orange.I bought this spray and it did frustrate her, a fresh spray would not make her scratch.
My cat will scratch furniture, carpet, anything besides the multiple scratching posts and scratching mats I bought. The cat scratched the couch once after spraying it, and I sprayed it again later that day, and he didn't touch the furniture for the next few days!
My cat used to scratch the couch constantly, but after applying this spray, she completely stopped. I'm so relieved to have found something that keeps my furniture safe without harming my cat.
I don't hate the citrus smell. It's a little strong, but I like it. The cat leaves it alone and doesn't bother my couch either, which is a win for me! I'm so glad I found this product.
When she first tried to chew after using it, she immediately ran away without any noticeable side effects.Our cat stopped chewing on potentially harmful plant leaves, and even after a while, had no desire to do so again.
I used this to help train my 3 month old kitten not to climb on the curtains. I haven't seen her climb again since I applied this.
I cannot say how well it works long run, but the cat hasn't gone anywhere I've sprayed it yet! I'm very pleased for day one!
It smells like citrus so I'm not surprised she doesn't want to engage with it. The smell isn't overpowering for people.
First of all I have to many CATS! I think some are dropped off all are what I call show up cats, and sometimes they scratch, or spray this seems to help, I don't know if you can train a cat, they are fickle in a fur coat.
I needed something to stop the cats clawing stuff up and I thought this might work. It does nothing to deter them. They barely notice it and continue doing whatever in the area sprayed.
