Good starter kit
This will help to get the job done. Only complaint is that this has a styrofoam base. The description leads you to believe the base is cork.

Not cork, fabric splitting at the seams
This is not cork, it's styrofoam covered with very thin fabric that is splitting at the seams. It may be ok if you are only going to display a hat on it. Not recommended.
