24" Director's Chair Black Frame-Red Canvas

This is good quality and sturdy, comfortable, arrived quickly, looks good, and is very affordable. I searched awhile for a counter height stool with both a supportive back and arms. In the end, this was the only stool that fit the bill, and I got it delivered to my home within days.

I love them. But more important the company was great to work with. A little nervous at first because I had never heard of the company before. The chairs were what I wanted and very comfortable. I would never hesitate to order from them. And if you happen to call them you will be totally pleased with the customer service...

Everything was as described and shipping was on time. I purchased a similar item from a different company that I wouldn't never deal with again. I can't comment on this item's durability yet but all seems great at this point. I'd deal with this company again.

I was so very happy with the quality of the chairs, and the speedy delivery!! The only thing is that I ordered the canvas color thought it was like the picture a kinda light brown and it was natural color !! It's ok we can live with that!! Thank you !! We have recently downsized and needed extra seating that could be folded and put away. We found the perfect solution in the counter height director's chairs. They are sturdy, and beautiful to look at. The only thing is that if you attach the ""foot rest"", you are unable to fold the chair! That is the whole purpose ~ to fold and store the chairs. Maybe someone else can tell me how to attach the foot rest so the chairs can be folded. Thanks!!

I was VERY hesitant to buy this chair. I searched a long time before I found these chairs much cheaper than similar chairs like this one. I was SO pleased when I received this. Very sturdy, well made, beautiful color, super easy assembly.......I couldn't be any happier with this chair, OR the customer service at Hayneedle!!!

This chair was purchased for our three season porch. It is so nice and we get many compliments on it. We have the natural finish and the yellow canvas and it looks very ""beachy"" which is the look of the porch. Very happy with this chair and the great price.

I purchased these chairs vice some others because some of the reviews of chairs on other sites said that you had to attach the footrest which was difficult to do as the holes did not align properly. These say NO ASSEMBLY required, and you do have to attach the footrest. That said, attaching the footrest is a breeze. The problem is that the chair will not fold wiht the footrest on. I purchased these chairs to use in my small home to use as extra dining room chairs that would easily fold for storage. It is a pain to take the footrest on and off everytime you use the chairs. I managed to rig one of the chairs to open and close by attaching the screw on one side and leaning the other side on the bolt that should be placed inside a hole pre-drilled in eother the footrest or frame. The chair is attractive and while I have not used them much, they seem durable. Definitely a good buy.

While we love the chair, it was difficult to put together. My husband had to use a lot of muscle and a rubber mallet to get the wood frame to the point where we could slide on the canvas. Once assembled, it doesn't simply fold up for storage. You need to unscrew and physically remove the footrest in order to fold it up. But great value for the money.

The chairs are to be used as an honor to our 10 year senior 4H members for our township, unfortunately the chairs will not go together. I have attempted to find a way to reach out to you but there is no phone number to customer service. There is also no information on how to return the product so I have three chairs that can't be assembled and are unusable. The canvas seats do not allow the chair to open all the way so the hinge can not be fully locked into place and the foot rest can bot be attached
