"24" Director's Chair Black Frame-Tan Canvas"

This is good quality and sturdy, comfortable, arrived quickly, looks good, and is very affordable. I searched awhile for a counter height stool with both a supportive back and arms. In the end, this was the only stool that fit the bill, and I got it delivered to my home within days.

I was VERY hesitant to buy this chair. I searched a long time before I found these chairs much cheaper than similar chairs like this one. I was SO pleased when I received this. Very sturdy, well made, beautiful color, super easy assembly.......I couldn't be any happier with this chair, OR the customer service at Hayneedle!!!

We have recently downsized and needed extra seating that could be folded and put away. We found the perfect solution in the counter height director's chairs. They are sturdy, and beautiful to look at. The only thing is that if you attach the ""foot rest"", you are unable to fold the chair! That is the whole purpose ~ to fold and store the chairs. Maybe someone else can tell me how to attach the foot rest so the chairs can be folded. Thanks!!

Easy to assemble... quality materials and sturdy construct... was looking for taller portable chairs to see over the railing of a balcony... price was great compared to apparently comparable stuff online. One weird feature: the foot rest must be screwed on with a screw Rx driver and you cannot re-fold the chair without using the screwdriver again to loosen the footrest... why not have a wing nut of some sort so the process can be done by hand... so one tiny demerit in an otherwise ideal purchase (not enough to knock it down a whole notch).

For what I paid for them and the life of the frame, I'm satisfied. My first two lasted roughly five years (maybe six) and the frames in both broke within the last nine months. I got what I paid for. Divide your cost by five or six years, depending on your usage of them and figure it out for yourself.

We plan to use the chairs in our trade show booth. They collapse easily (if you leave the footrest off-which we are). They look amazing and set up easily. We are also planning to have custom backs printed with our company logo. They were an amazing find.

I love the size... and height. just right for the condo porch we have... not too tall! I would like it better if the foot rest folded, but we had easy solution for that... great buy for a great price. love the color too! easy to take in and outside...

I purchased these chairs vice some others because some of the reviews of chairs on other sites said that you had to attach the footrest which was difficult to do as the holes did not align properly. These say NO ASSEMBLY required, and you do have to attach the footrest. That said, attaching the footrest is a breeze. The problem is that the chair will not fold wiht the footrest on. I purchased these chairs to use in my small home to use as extra dining room chairs that would easily fold for storage. It is a pain to take the footrest on and off everytime you use the chairs. I managed to rig one of the chairs to open and close by attaching the screw on one side and leaning the other side on the bolt that should be placed inside a hole pre-drilled in eother the footrest or frame. The chair is attractive and while I have not used them much, they seem durable. Definitely a good buy.

Perfect white color but fairly flimsy chair. Very light weight and it does not fold up as you would expect (due to the nice footrest). The cotton seat also sags pretty quickly making the chair too short overall. Overall fine, but would not purchase more.

I purchased this chair so that my husband, who was very weak from cancer, could sit outside and still be able to get out of the chair. The height was excellent. The chair is well built except for one thing, once you have the seat canvas on the chair, the hinge will NOT go flat and therefore you can NOT put the step on it. I have tried numerous things to get the hinge to go flat as shown in the picture to no avail.
