24 Inch Director's Chair

This is good quality and sturdy, comfortable, arrived quickly, looks good, and is very affordable. I searched awhile for a counter height stool with both a supportive back and arms. In the end, this was the only stool that fit the bill, and I got it delivered to my home within days.

I bought this for my husband for his filming projects and we are very well pleased.

Easy to put together, great chair. My Director son loves it.

Dining now feels alfresco though in the comfort of air conditioning. We love the open airy feel. I have had 3 for years and just added a fourth. They blend beautifully and easily travel to the seating area of the great room when the crowd demands extra sitting space. Also canvas backs and seats wash beautifully. Love them and they are super sturdy now even with better design for the footrest.

We recently downsized and I now have my ""office"" in a double closet. The keyboard tray to my computer slides out and I use this lightweight, sturdy chair to work at my computer. When I'm through, the closet doors close, the keyboard tucks back into the desk and then I move the Director's Chair into the room to use as a side chair. Since it's very light, it's no problem to move around. It is well built and comfortable!

This is a very nice chair....well made with a smooth finish and good looking canvas. We are very happy with it. If I were to make changes I would say, provide a wing nut for the foot rest so that it can be more easily released for folding the chair. I would also like to see screws instead of rivets so that the chair would last longer.

Excellent solution to a small eat-in kitchen. Needed solution that would work with a toddler that has transitioned from high chair to booster seat. The sturdy chair arm rests help keep him in place. Simple, attractive styling of chairs grounds the kitchen. Only complaint is one of the chairs came with a couple of barely noticeable dings. Decided they give the chair character and kept it. All in all, excellent value, styling, and utility.

This is a Christmas gift for my daughter who is 12 years old and wants to be a director, which is why I bought this director chair. I pulled it out of the box to see what it looked like and it was much better quality than I had expected. I also think the black frame is more attractive than the plan frame. This hasn't been sat in yet, so I'm unsure of the durability at this point, but it was a great find!!! :-)

Pro: These chairs are sturdy and comfortable. The description on Wayfair was accurate. I was so surprised at how quickly I received them! Very easy to assemble. I would recommend them. Con: The canvas seat fabric sticking in one area arrived damaged.

Not nearly the comfort or quality as the 30-year old Asian import it replaced. Seat size is reduced, wood frame/arms components are glued pieces rather than soid oak, and are cut square, rather than gracefully shaped for arm comfort; cotton canvas is flimsier. Overall, I'd estimate a 30% reduction in quality over a 30-year term. But, I guess that is reflected in the price as well. Or put another way, had I shopped in person, I would have passed on this.
