242 Tylo Keyed Entry Knob and Single Cylinder Deadbolt Project Pack in Satin Chrome

There's nothing I disliked about the product. They were really good looking and easy to install on my standard door. I had everything installed within an hour.

Quick and easy installalation

4 OF THESE IN MY HOUSE FROM 25 YEARS AGO. THE INTERNAL SPRING BROKE ON 2 OF THEM MAKING IT HARD TO LOCK / UNLOCK. I THOUGH THAT WAS GREAT QUALITY BUT IT GOT EVEN BETTER WHEN KWIKSET WARRANTIED THEM FOR FREE AND SENT THE REPLACEMENTS IN NO TIME.

Great product and so easy to install. Only issue I had was the key cylinder was upside down after it was installed.but product support came to the rescue and sent me the cylinder tool for free. I had it fixed in about 5 minutes Locks are super secure. Thanks.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used Kwikset on both my home and rental properties. This was a replacement for what I thought was under warranty but turned out not. However Kwikset did make an exception and provided me with replacements for my older knobs. The replacements are great and I like the ease of the re-keying process. Thanks again Kwikset

Mid level quality price point ok

After installing both knob and deadlock, the knob keyhole was upside down which proved very unappealing and it took exta time to gain entry to my home having to turn the key first right side up for the deadlock then upside-down for the knob. I quickly decided this was unacceptable. I could not change the direction of the keyhole, however, I turned to their website and they offer a free tool so I could do it myself. It came within a week or less I think. The overall product itself works fantastic, had everything I needed for different types installs even. But it would be nice if a package that comes with both knob and deadlock to have same direction keyholes at least. I was very impatient, so I actually ended up going back to the store where I bought it, to see if they had any sets where the keyholes were both upright. After about the 10th one I looked at, I did find one. So they let me exchange it. But i was still excited when I got the little tool to use on future installs. (Note: the knob and deadlock slots are on the left side of my door looking at it from the outside.).

Haven't had any problems with this locks iset I was changing the keys and for some reason the cylinder did not work properly the company sent me a brand new cylinder for me to replace it as well as the tool the only negative part was no directions or instructions on how to take the cylinder out had to watch YouTube videos in order to figure that part out after all is said and done cylinder change lock working great

I have a rental house with four locked doors. Each have deadbolts and knob locks. Re-keying between tenants is really easy. I have had three incidents where a deadbolt or knob lock stopped working for some unknown reason. Kwikset was good to their warrantee and provided replacement parts quickly via UPS. I keep a pair of locks in my tool kit so the replacement is quick and the tenant is not inconvenienced while I wait for the replacement. I would like to get the tool that will allow me to fix a broken cylinder. Can you send me one?

They do they job but seem a little flimsy at times.
