I am very picky when it comes to hair care. My hair is high maintenance. Unfortunately I’m not lucky enough to have “ wash and go” hair. I have purchased many styling tools including flat irons. They all left my hair straight but dry and frizzy looking. I decided to invest in a better flat iron. This is why I purchased the GHD Platinum Professional. The flat iron has one heat setting, 365. This is what GHD feels is the best for keeping your hair healthy. The GHD has heat sensors to protect your hair. The flat iron is ready to use in 20 seconds. It has a shut off feature for safety. I use a good cream heat protector before I use the flat iron. The picture shows my hair dried naturally on one side and the other side with the GHD iron. The iron leaves my hair smooth and shiny. I’m sure it will look straighter once I improve my technique. Walmart’s discounted price was a plus too. I recommend this flat iron.

This is a great iron. It glides through hair and it has a sleek look. The gliding is a HUGE difference from cheaper ones im told, the conair ones are good but they get caught every now and then. Its a little trippy to figure out the button to turn it on and when its ready but read the instructions it'll clarify a lot of things.

Heats up super fast. Works great with no damage!

I have always loved GHD products but this straightener stopped working within weeks. I have had my other GHD straightener for ten years so either GHD has changed their quality or the more likely cause is the seller / scammer: Savoy sold me a defective or refurbished product.

I had a previous Ghd platinum that worked better thsnit. I was wondering if it is fake

Its a counterfeit item, can easily tell by the quality. Wire is rounded, not flat; model no/serial number is not unique, etc. Stay away!! Not sure why Walmart is telling it be sold on here.

I don't know what's going on or why this has good reviews. It's awful. It doesn't glide through your hair and does not straighten! I'm returning.

This product is terrible. When you power it on it doesnt stay on but. couple minutes. It will shut off in the middle of straightening your hair. It does not get very hot. I would NOT purchase this item.
