I was very hesitant in buying one of these type gadgets after reading reviews of many different kinds. Most reviews seemed good and the price for what it does cannot be beat.
There are no directions on how to use it (why I only gave that part 4 stars) but the manual tells you exactly what each part is which is almost good enough. There will be a learning curve at first on what size blade to use and what top to use. There are 2 parts and each works with a different type of blade. One set of blades are meant to push the veggie/fruit through into chunks and the other to slice. You will experiment with the blades to figure out what each one does and what size, but once you figure that out your golden. Make sure your pieces are chopped down to size recommended before putting safety cap in your veggies top. Don't try starting with a 10" carrot, cut it in half. Do your cutting into a bowl over the sink is my recommendation. You can cut down carrots lightning fast which is probably the hardest vegetable to cut through. Rhere is no chunk left at bottom when done, it slices the whole veggie/fruit or whatever. Cleaning is quick and easy. A light swipe and its clean.
Don't hesitate to buy. I have had it about a year and still works like a charm and packs away into a neat box form so you don't have 30 parts laying all over a drawer.
