If this were the first experience with daylilies, you'd probably say “what the heck?” and give 3-4 stars. But, if you've never seen bare root daylilies, they all look rough upon arrival. Nevertheless, these were smaller than I'd like but the item description clearly says “1-2 fans” which means only 1-2 “green stalks” will grow first yr so they'll likely take 2 years to get as big as the ones you've seen sold in the 2 qt pots already blooming. But I gave 5 stars bc I got several more than 25 and bc I knew the size ahead of time (but wanted the low price). But at less than half the cost of bigger ones, I can wait a yr or two.
Stela doro daisies arrived in good shape, on time and had good roots for planting in my flower bed. They are taking very well and are greening up after just a few days.
They have only been planted so haven't bloomed yet. But they were already putting out new stems. Price very good. Look forward to watching them grow and bloom.
I received my plants in great condition and put them in the ground right away. Packaging was well thought out and everything looks healthy. I will be looking for this seller as fall bulbs start to come out. We can't wait for the spring so we can watch these Stella's grow.
Order arrived very quickly and packaged well. Plants were in great shape, packaged in peat moss and also had a couple of extras. Potted them up and they were green in a couple of days. Within 10 days a few had scapes started already. Will definitely purchase from them again.
It took a while to get here but they are fine. They actually sent me a couple extra which I appreciated. I just planted them so it's obviously too early to say they all survived. But, based on how they looked out of the package, I can't inagine they would not.
Very small. Mine grew fora while then died. Im in central Florida
Plants were microscopic. Not even the size of a very small fan, as is typical with daylilies. There was just a little white growth. As a result, I immediately lost several because they were not tough enough to survive shipping and initial transplant.
These have been planted 2weeks. No sign of them coming up.
Very small. I ordered 75 plants and put them all into the ground. Most grew, but only to 6"-7" tall, and I got maybe a handful of blooms, all very small, which died within a couple of days. Maybe next year they will be better. I have no way of knowing, and maybe won't bother to wait. Looks like a will replace with some other plants that are more expensive, but better producers.
