26" Hyper Shocker Men's Mountain Bike with Suspension, 18-Speed, Black

It was already put together when we picked it up. My son wanted to ride it out the store but he waited till we got home. We live on a gravel road and road on it for a mile and a half to help a neighbor out with his siblings. I would recommend it to anyone. He didn't have any problems on the road at all, great bike.

OK – I'll admit – I'm not familiar with the Hyper brand name for bikes – and at around $99 in price – didn't know what to expect when UPS dropped off this package. First things first – it was well packaged and took a bit to clip all the cardboard protection off the bike – which did a great job of protecting the painted frame from unintended blemishes. Assembly only took about ½ hour and included installing the seat, 2 pedals, front handlebar, 2 reflectors, and the front wheel. The only tools you'll need are 2 adjustable crescent wrenches, heavy duty scissors, and a phillips head screwdriver. The bike looks awesome with its flat black and glossy black frame with hot red graphic accents. It has a dual suspension steel frame (front fork shocks and strut on frame located under the seat area) that gives the 26" Hyper Shocker Bike a comfortable ride, even on off-road surfaces. The shifters on this 18-speed bike are manufactured by reliable Shimano and features easy-to-use, twist-grip shifting located by both hand grips. It also has a 3-piece high-performance crank for pedaling, as well as powerful linear-pull front and rear brakes (which might need a bit of adjusting out of the box), which makes it ready to take on any adventure. The knobby tires will grip any off-road surface giving you a safe and secure ride – but still provide a smooth effortless ride on paved surfaces. The deluxe padded seat is fairly comfortable for a stock saddle, and features an alloy quick-release seat clamp for easy adjustment of the seat height. Assembled dimensions are 67"L x 42"H x 24"W, Weight: 32 lbs, Pedals: resin platform pedals. Bike is designed for persons 5'2” to 5'10” in height. My son – who is just below this limit – rode it comfortably with no problems, whatsoever. My wife's test ride came back with glowing reviews – declaring that it rode smoother and with less effort than her mountain bike – which cost more! At 6'3” – the bike even adjusted to comfortable riding position for myself. The shifters worked smoothly, and the brakes were secure, however, the brake handles are positioned in an odd location and cannot be adjusted to a more comfortable one due to the location of the gear selector grip. I only wish my old bike had the suspension components that the Hyper Shocker has – because it is a much more comfortable ride once you adjust the main shock absorber to your comfort level.

The men's 26" Hyper Shocker bike is a great value for the price! It has a very smooth ride and a sleek and smooth design that makes it very appealing. The shocks work well for absorbing bumps at any speed, and is easy to handle on any terain. The seat is easily adjustable, as well as the handle bars. The handle grips are very comfortable, and the gears are easily accessible on the handlebars with a turn dial numbered for each gear. The fact that it has Shimano breaks is a great feature too. The easily accessible shifters make it easy to transition from flat land to hills with ease. I also like that it comes with a kick stand to hold it up, that is easy to use. This bike is great for off road trails and every day use. It is fairly lightweight and easy to handle. The tires have thick tread to help get you through the mud and gravel. To my surprise, it was very easy to assemble right out of the box, I barley had to look at the directions and it was all put together in less than a half an hour. That was very helpful. I would recommend the men's 26" Hyper Shocker to my friend's and family, or anyone looking for a dependable bike at an affordable price.

This is an inexpensive bike and is pretty decent for riding around. The seat is not the most comfortable, but the bike is sharp looking and functions well. Great deal. Although I would recommend buying in store. Purchased on Walmart.com and they sent the completely wrong bike from a different manufacturer. Can compete with Amazon if you're going to do that Walmart.

Great value for your money. It is a very sturdy bike. If course the assembly of the bike want perfect but spending a few minutes on fixing it will make it close to perfect. Great investment. I've had a few friends of mine try this bike out and no one believed that this was less than 100 dollars..lol

Super easy to order online and have it assembled in the store after signing a waiver they put it together for me the next day. I have a baby seat attached to the back so we take Junior on rides around the neighborhood and he really enjoyed himself Overall I would buy again

I went online to buy this bike for my son. He's in college at Arkansas State and I'm in Chicago. It was very convenient to make the purchase online and have him pick it up. He loves the bike and it's a great buy for the $$ ....

I bought my son his bike at Walmart and he just loves it. It rides smooth and he is able to go all along the trails with his friends. The coloring is very "awesome", so I'm told. Bottom line, my son likes it and rides it all the time.

I ordered this bike and it came with crooked front wheel and cracking pedal bearing. Of course I asked for replacement, which came with broken front brake. I took the brake from the first bike and put it on the second, so I can have one fully functioning bike. Now I have a decent bike. Yet it took me two deliveries, some repairs and hustle of taking it apart, fitting in the same box and coordinating with fedex and Walmart so someone would pick up the original delivery. I'm happy with my bike now, but it just shouldn't be this hard and shouldn't waste so much of my time.
