Have held up well so far after about 12K miles on my FWD Traverse. They are comfortable and reasonably quiet, and compare well to the Destination LE2/LE3 I have typically put on my SUVs. Good wet traction. Seem on track to make 50K miles on this heavy FWD car. If they do, they will have been a good value for the price.
I'm not sure what the 2 people who gave these tires a bad review were thinking, but they are dead wrong about them. I have been driving for more that 40 years and I have purchased many tires and these are among the best. I have a 2019 Dodge Journey that I bought brand new and these tires are better than the ones that it came with. The first thing I noticed is my vehicle drives better with these tires, there is very little road noise and it's like riding on air. I did not rate for snow and ice performance because it's the middle of summer in North Carolina. I will buy Hercules tires for all my vehicles in the future.
Just had 4 Terra-Trac HPT's installed on my '96 F-150, and WOW - what an improvement in ride quality and grip. White-lettering on sidewall looks great, too.
I am a fair-weather driver but sometimes come into snow and rain. These tires handle well and keep their traction in less than perfect conditions.
Very satisfied with these tires. Excellent ride, handling and traction.
They look great!
Good traction, comfortable ride
Installed HPT's on my 2016 ram 1500. Probably one of the worst riding tires I've ever owned. I'm a mechanic and balanced them myself which they did seem to be out of wack right off the bat but I got them balanced. Inflated to only 35psi (truck calls for 39) I went for a ride and immediately thought my gauges were lying to me. They rode like stone even being under inflated. So I drop them down to 30 which still had them standing on the sidewalls. At that point the truck felt like it wanted to wander. I then got put them to 32psi and went for a long ride. From the moment I hit the highway the truck had this strange vibration. I drove it for about 1000 miles like that thinking maybe they needed to kinda find themselves 🤷♂️ but no change. I tried bringing them up to 39psi and the vibration became horrible. I even turned my adjustable shocks all the way to soft and it didnt help. After that I went to a friend's shop with road-force balancing which was a huge waste of time. Not sure whats wrong with them but theyll be in the tire pile soon. Only nice things I can say is dry traction and wear seems to be good.
