My 5 year old daughter just loves this game and her 8 year old brother plays it as well. I recommend this to any Dora lover!
My kids are 4, 3 and almost 2. I looked and looked for Wii games that I could start for them and let them play alone for the most part. This is PERFECT for my 4 year old and my 3 year old enjoys playing even though she doesn't get the concept as well as my 4 year old. The 2 older ones can help the youngest one sort of play. LOL If you are looking for an affordable game that will interest your pre-school age child with minimal help from you - this is it. I have 2 girls and a boy so we also got the Diego version for my son to play.
My six-year-old daughter received this game as a Christmas gift and absolutely loves it. The game is very user friendly. There's a figure that appears in the bottom corner of the screen to show the player what they need to do, which is great for younger kids. My four-year-old son has been playing it as well, so it's easy for all of the younger crowd. Doesn't require constant help from mom and dad, which makes it a great one in my mind!
My daughter has had a blast playing this game. She is three years old. The ease of this game is great and the on screen helper is wonderful. Definite must have.
We have only played this game a few times. My daughter seems to enjoy it, but needs a little help with using the controller to make Dora move the appropriate way. She just turned four though and I am assuming as she "grows into the game" she will like it more and more. Right now she gets a little frustrated. I am not yet sure about unlocking additional games but the ones we have played in the beginning are cute.
My kid likes this game. If you've seen Diego's dinosaur game, the game play is a lot like it. It held her attention and, just like the show, it teaches your child while they're playing.
Ok, I can put this game in for my 3 yr. old and she will play on her own, while I clean or cook or take care of the baby. So, I can actually finish something without interuption now. She Looves the game, and begs to play every day. It's also fun to watch her figure out the challanges and do the actions. When I play and just wiggle the controller she gets mad at me and points to the action picture in the corner of the TV. Then tells me what I'm suppose to do. So, I have to get up off my butt and do the action. Good Daughter! This game also taught her how to use the controller for other games that she couldn't play before.
Great game. My 5 year old loves it, and so do I when I get a chance to play!
I got this for my 3 year old for Christmas. Later that evening I was happy to see that both him and his 6 year old brother were playing it. Great game!
My 4 year old daughter liked this game. At first I had to help her a little bit but she got the hang of it and there was also a helper thing you could turn on which also helped to direct her the way to jump over things and more. It's a good game for children from ages 4 - 12 I would think.
