Everyone gravitates towards these chairs. They're very sturdy %26 comfy. The retractable footrests are a game changer! We can pull them out to elevate our feet or leave them in %26 have more space. The built in cup holders %26 collapsible side tables are a great added feature. So nice to have a place for drinks and other belongings. There's even a slot for tablets, Bought them in the spring %26'they seem to be holding up nicely. Only the test of time will truly tell. We live in NY %26 usually put away and/or cover our outdoor furniture during the colder months. We haven't put them away yet but they also fold down for easier storage. Black color has not faded. Assembling took a little longer than anticipated/stated but nothing terrible. We're a family of 4, entertain often, currently own 6 and buying more!

They are absolutely beautiful under my redwood tree. They are so inviting! They have everything I need for a peaceful afternoon outside... reading, texting, I pad holder....a cup of tea, a meal. Even though they are wood like....I can sit it them for hours without feeling like I'm sitting on wood. I believe you can get cushions for them. However, I just love the rustic look. My friend has had hers for a few years and it looks as new as the day she bought them. They handle all weather conditions without fading. i just knew I had to have them. These were two of the best yard investments I've ever made. Just remember to remove your cup if you're going to adjust the back or leg rest. My friend and her husband put them together for me when I was out of town. They liked them so much, they wanted to know where I got them. so I ordered them this set.

These chairs are heavy duty and beautiful. We ordered the Navy set. They are a true navy color. We were able to assemble the remaining pieces very easily. We LOVE the flip side tray and the built-in ottoman that can be retracted under the seat when it is not needed. We highly recommend these chairs.

The chair is very comfortable, like all Adirondack chairs are. I like the durability of the materials because I live in south central Texas where the highest temperature in August can be 120. However, the arm with the table/drink holder is doesn't tighten all the way. I do love the sliding footrest because I have adema in my ankle from a motorcycle accident, so I bought this for resting while working in my large vegetable garden.

Nice chairs overall, but some of the hardware showed up without threads in them. I broke a tap trying to cut the threads, and now 3 trips to the hardware store I have it assembled.

It's a nice enough chair. It took a little bit to put together because the holes didn't line up very well but we made it work. It's fairly sturdy although I worry about the arms bending when you use them to help you stand up. It's low but most adirondacks are. I like the footstool but it's impossible to pull out while you're sitting. It has to be pulled out before you sit down which makes it difficult to sit when you have to straddle that. It's doable but awkward. I like the adjustable back and that's really easy to do when you're sitting. The tray table is nice and seems sturdy. The biggest issue I have is folding it up. Oh my gosh! The pin is just about impossible to get out! We tried and tried but we just could not get it to fold up. We decided to buy a cover for it and just leave it out all the time but I'm very disappointed because it's one of the main reasons I bought this one. Now that it's all put together, though, I've decided to live with it rather than sending it back.

These chairs are very heavy and they don't take that into consideration when they package them for shipping both chairs are put in one box with no protection. The box arrived completely ripped open re-taped lots of scuffs on the chairs and two places are broken.

I've had the chairs for roughly 2-3 weeks and I can see the slats are starting to warp. For reference i'm 150lbs and I noticed after sitting in it yesterday that the slats you sit on are completely warped inward. This means that I can no longer slide in the ottoman because the slats interfere with the ottoman.
