3 Blue Angel Hosta Bareroot

I received 3 bare root Blue Angel hostas 2 days early. Each bare root contained 3 nice healthy large 1 1/2" - 2" shoots and plenty of roots. We still have some cold weather coming so I planted each one in an appropriate size pot and will keep them in the greenhouse for a couple of weeks before planting out. Will probably order more from this company.

Skeptical about ordering hostas from Walmart but totally pleased with them. They arrived just a bare root with a little "nub" of a plant. Within two weeks they have two leaves each and evidence of more leaves ready to pop. Was so pleased that I've ordered more!

Healthy bareroot plants arrived and I planted them. They are thriving. I would definitely order them again.

Two of the three hostas have sprouted leaves and look like they will make it. The third is totally dead and decomposing. It did not have healthy roots to begin with. The remaining hostas had good roots.

I can't really say right now, have put them in the ground and now just waiting to see if they come up. But I like the hosta so just hoping for the best

Roots came in huge and healthy, all with small sprouts and beginnings of new growth. Bought a mixed bag of Hostas from another seller at the same time, and these Blue Angle Roots were by far bigger and healthier than the mixed bag from other seller. 4 stars, because I have just planted them and they have a few months before the plant will be on full display. Definitely will buy again though, the Bare Roots were in excellent health.

These come 3 to an order, and I ordered a total of 9 plants . I planted them the exact same way, in the exact same environment (same temps, sun availability, same amounts of water) but only 5 have grown; 4 shriveled and died. All 9 looked healthy and thriving out of the box. I can't imagine how I caused the results, but losing 4 out of 9 is really disappointing. Especially since I paid for an entire order of 3 that died
