I've Been using aleens glue for years, its always been a staple in my craft room.I use this glue to make a medium that mixes with my acrylic paint. I love using this glue it is really thick and goes a long way. i also mix it with water and make my own modge podge.
I have used gallons of this glue throughout the many years I've been making crafts. I make greeting cards, do quilling, make craft kits for 2 children's classes I teach at church every week (they use Tacky Glue, too). My husband and I used to sell crafts at 4 different consignment shops. Many of those items were held together with Aleene's Tacky Glue. Love it! You can buy it with a cap that allows the bottle to stand upside down, so that it's always ready to use...no waiting for the glue to come out of the tip. I save that cap and use it on the bottles that don't have it. Depending on what you're using it for, you can thin it down with a drop or two of water. Great Glue! Wouldn't be without it!
If you love diy projects where you assemble pieces together, this glue is a must. The beauty of this glue is that it doesn't dry too fast so it gives you time to get something just right without rushing you. I like to pour out some in a little tray and start using it for the tiny diy kits. When it it fresh/liquidy it is useful to glue wallpapers and more flat surfaces on a diy kit, and gluing things together seemlessly. As it gradually dries, it thickens and can be even more useful for putting things in place without them falling off like leaves, flowers, or furniture. It dries clear.
Aleen's tacky glue is my go-to for almost all things paper. It goes on thick, spreads easy, and grabs immediately.
This is my go-to glue when working with quilling papers. It dries quickly yet allows time for adjustments without running. Holds up well without making paper soggy. The tip can be cut or poked with a needle to get the perfect flow.
I'll start with not liking that there's no cap to cover the glue when you finish. I would suggest leaving a dollop of glue on the opening to dry and cover it. Other than that, no complaints. I bought this to glue fabric and it works very well. Ilike it better than 'the other white glue' for fabric. I also am making some cross stitch Christmas ornaments, and this glue will not be bulky the way that hot glue would. It's easy to work with, comes out smoothly, spreads easily. No odors. I would definitely recommend for any craft that you don't want to use a glue gun. I folded my fabric over and used small quilt clips to hold it in place. There was no slippage and later that day when I went back to finish it, the glue was dry and the fabric still in place. With appropriate supervision, I can see children using this product successfully as well.
Use this for Everything ! Love it !!
I love this stuff I am a crafter i use it on a things it works really well and the price is not bad
well I'm sure the glue is good but it's VERY DECEPTIVE as far as the size of the bottle (I know manufacturers are shrinking EVERYTHING But This Is RIDICULOUS!!). So 🤏tiny I practically need a 🔍 magnifying glass 😂
Don't work in the surface
