Cushion is right! These are worth the extra cost. So nice for the heel area! Stayed on for hours, even through the shower. Same feeling of ripping the band-aid off though haha.
Discovered these when I was recovering from multiple surgeries after a car accident. When I was finally able to begin my water rehab, I needed something that would stay attached and not become waterlogged. Along comes Sport Strips and I never looked back. Thanks Band-Aid
Bandaid slipped a couple of these in their older complete first aid kit model. By far and above the best bandage on the market, especially if you are dealing with an area that gets wet or sweaty often. The bandaids stay on without a problem, and the extra cushion helps with the painful red bumps that I've always gotten around a cut. Since these don't let water under them the skin actually stays dry and allows the cut to heal.
After reading other reviews I concur that the sport strip is hands down the best product on the market. I also would like to follow the lead of others and request that management at the necessary level give consideration to using sport strip material in the manufacture of other sizes...especially knuckle and fingertip.
I work in a restaurant and we go through band-aids like water because the others don't stick very long , the only ones that work are the sport strips. the guys in the tank area are always cutting them self. can you please make a bigger box so please make a bigger box for companys
I'm a bit of a bandage connoisseur, and Band-Aid's Sport Strips are hands-down the best product out there. They stay on through multiple showers/hand washings but come off miraculously easily when you are ready to remove them. I've been a fan of these bandages for 15 years, and I have purchased so many of them over the years that I didn't run out of them until just this week. I now see that they only come in one size unless I purchase the variety pack. Please bring back the Sport Strips in all sizes. I just peeled off my very last small square one tonight, and many years ago one of the giant ones helped to heal a large burn on my arm that I was sure would leave a scar. The Sport Strips are by far your best product. Please make them available for all types of injuries again. Thank you.
I've always worked with my hands and being well past 50, I've experienced every brand/type of wound care bandage because using the best means I can always do the job best. My hands (mostly) take quite a beating as I'm involved in construction & construction cleaning. I've never short-changed my ongoing search for the best, worry-free protection I could get, even to the point of chasing down the occassional Zee guy on the road for a supply. Someone in my office came across these Sport Stripos and popped them in the First Aid kit. I happened on them one day with a particularly nasty gouge out of my hand and haven't looked back since. Except for the occassional weirdly shaped or -placed wound, I find Band-Aid's Sport Strips give a superior performance for stick, flexibility, water reasistance and their ability to stand up to harsh abuse. Even when I have to get my hands wet, the pad doesn't start slipping around, which then loosens the "stick", guaranteeing I'm going to have to stop what I'm doing to put a new one on. I only wish Johnson & Johnson would make these in the knuckle and fingertip conformation; and perhaps in a larger patch for larger wounds. The performance and basic construction of this band-aid is second to none. WELL worth the higher price. And, NO, Johnson & Johnson didn't pay me to say this.
After years of using the Sport Strip product recent changes have made me quit buying them. They don't stick as well and are prone to tearing. The old version was just about the best bandage ever, now they are pretty much as useless as all the other brands. I used to recommend them but now can't do so in good faith. Please change them back!
Band-Aid Sport Strips "WERE" the "BEST" bandages ever made. I would buy two to three boxes at a time (home/work/car) just to ensure that I would never be without them, because I am accident-prone. They were perfect in EVERY way, easy to remove from paper packaging, perfect amount of cushioning, adhesive remained strong even after getting wet and lastly easy to remove when needing to be replaced. HOWEVER, that is NOT the case NOW! They tear very easily when trying to remove paper wrapper, cushion is terribly thin, when wet they loose their adhesion, but in a way that it literally falls apart in pieces and then it is hard as heck to remove all the little pieces. At first I thought I bought a knock off brand with clever labeling, but after careful inspection ( to my utter surprise and complete disappointment) they were genuine Band-Aid Brand. Needless to say I returned the opened box as well the two additional boxes I had purchased. Reason given: Dissatisfaction WHY would you change such an awesome product?!? These are the ONLY bandages I have ever bought since discovering them some 10 to 15 years ago! I assure you I will not buy another box, they are no better than a dollar store brand. Unfortunately now I have to start searching for the perfect band aid with all the fore mentioned characteristics: Easy access, thick padding, water resistant and quality adhesive. I truly hope that Band-Aid Brand decides to return to the method of manufacturing of Sports Strip as they once did. It "WAS" the very "BEST" and most "EXCELLENT" band aid product ever made! Most kindly, Wade
The new version of these band aids that recently came out suck. They're very stiff and when you try to take them off they break into little pieces that need to be rubbed off aggressively. If you can manage to get those tiny little pieces off, and notice that I said if and not when, you will have to deal with the extremely aggressive adhesive. Did we have a product that worked? Let's turn it into junk! As opposed to helping you heal, these band aids will rip your skin apart. Tip: Use a blow dryer for an easy clean removal.
