I always keep this brand and flavor on hand for a different reason than most do. I have rescued, fostered, nursed, spayed or neutered and housed tons of cats over the years. This always hits the mark temporarily for anorexic cats with dental issues, and sick cats who are unable or unwilling to eat kibble. Also for cats that get a case of the "finickies" now and then. I prefer feeding the beef flavor as do the cats. It has a much smoother texture and a bit more fat than chicken or turkey, which have a granular texture. Even canned pate cat food has a rough texture that will deter cats that are sick or have dental issues. This is the smoothest - comfort food for cats. I count on the fat for cats that have to be coaxed to eat. Every calorie counts. Sickly cats do prefer the smooth texture. I just fed a jar to one of my senior cats this evening. Obviously, this is not a permanent solution since it is not a balanced diet for felines. So she will be visiting her Vet soon for a dental check. I do prefer this brand over the other major brand which has included additional ingredients over the years such as onion and corn starch. Really? This brand contains only the basics, beef and beef broth. Pure and simple. Good for human babies too!
My senior KD cat is a pucky eatter. I have tried other snacks like churro but it does not sit well with him. I can hide medications in it easily and he lives it. This particular brand does not add anything other than water and t h e meat so it is safe.
(A treat)💕🫠🌹I finally decided to get this for my kitty, since all the crap that's out there for cats is soo bad that it's recommended humans should not eat it, well my kitty won't eat it either! So I decided to try baby food stage 1 beef, as there aren't any additives. So I thought if it's good enough for a little babies, then it should be good enough for a cat, right? I thought so too💕🫠 Well, my kitty ate àll that I gave to her, as she has NEVER licked the bowl clean, (almost) I only gave her about 2 table spoons, as I thought that was enough to start with, Tho I doubt I'll give her much more than that, except I'll give it to her twice a day. It's sad that regular cat food is so awful and has very little food value to it, tho it is enough to keep them alive!! The dry stuff is blasted with such a high heat I'm surprized anything could live thru it. Humm-- nothing does live thru it, and that's why they add what they do to it!!
had shipped 2 packs of 10; the jars have white spots all inside the lid and within the food. i tried heating thinking it was fat, but it stayed. you can smear it and its grainy. its in every jar. reached out to customer service and have to return to the store. which i need to do money is tight. i have hard time going to store but need to for my refund.
I ordered Beech Nut beaf and beaf broth, but received chicken. I did not expect that it's chicken and open two jars, so far I can't return it. Now I don't know what to do, because I still need beaf, an can't use chicken. My granddaughter doesn't eat it
Box with baby food arrived. Opened it this AM to find a broken baby food glass jar in the package. Only packaged with some crumbled up paper as cushioning.
This has been reported. Investigated. Heavy metals. Difficult to find. I did research. All f Gerber food and beechnut baby food is tainted with heavy metals and plastics should be removed off the counters immediately it's been very difficult for me to find and I did research and found out why no longer will purchase legally. It should be removed from the shelves.
I thought the request was for the 3 jars! This is ridiculous! Each jar had a clearance sticker for .75 on each; what was worse is the food had been outdated for almost a month!🤢
I'm returning product to store. The three jars of baby food were out of date!!! It's not good busy to send food products with a bad date, especially for babies.
Yet again another order with deals broken and the food frozen so now it can't be fed to my baby. More money wasted and more disappointment with walmart.
