I have to begin by admitting I can be a bit of a salsa snob, mostly because I grew up eating delicious, homemade salsa. I am always hesitant about store bought salsas because they tend not to be spicy and tend to taste a little too mild for my taste. I first tried this with chips and loved the Salsa. It has a smoky chipotle flavor that gives jist the right amount of heat. I then made quesadillas for dinner and my family loved it. They thought I had made the Salsa myself. This product is a win in my book and will continue to be a staple at our home. Try bettergoods' smoky fire roasted Salsa, you won't regret it. Highly recommend!
Perfect spice level that's not too hot with a nice smokey aftertaste. Chunky, fresh and a good addition to chips, scrambled eggs, beans and potatoes.
Often times when you buy things that say spicy, it fails to hit the mark. This habanero ghost pepper makes my tongue burn and I love it. I also like that it retains the tomato taste. The other thing I like about this salsa is that it is chunky so you feel you're getting good ingredients.
This is one of the best salsas we've tried as a family. The Smoky Fire Roasted salsa is exactly what I needed to go with a delicious carne asada, whether it's with tacos, chips, or even mixed with guacamole. I have to say it's a total game-changer. The smoky flavor gives it a unique depth, while the fire-roasted peppers add a perfect balance of heat and sweetness. From my perspective, it has just the right amount of spice to enjoy the food without being overwhelming. I love how fresh it tastes, and the texture is just right—not too thick or too smooth. Definitely, it's now one of our favorite salsas to pair with any meal.
BetterGoods Smoky Fire Roasted Salsa Hot offers a bold and smoky flavor with a noticeable kick of heat. The roasted tomatoes and peppers bring a deep, rich taste, while the smokiness adds a unique layer that sets it apart from other salsas. The heat level is definitely on the spicier side, perfect for those who enjoy a good burn without being overwhelming. The texture is smooth, with just enough chunkiness for a satisfying dip. Overall, it's a great choice for anyone who loves smoky flavors and a spicy punch!
The BetterGoods Smoky Fire Roasted Salsa delivers a bold, smoky flavor with just the right balance of heat and freshness. The fire-roasted tomatoes add a deep, charred richness, while the spice level enhances without overpowering. Perfect for dipping or adding to dishes, it's a must-try for salsa lovers who enjoy a smoky kick.
This salsa was sweeter than I expected it to be. It's a lot smoother in texture than a lot of other salsas. It was also spicier than I expected. Buy this if you like sweet and spicy salsas.
We are kind of salsa adjacent with this one - the ingredients are similar, yet not quite the right ones. The first flavor hit I get is overwhelmingly smokey by the addition of liquid smoke as an ingredient and then the flavor of ketchup. Why not use chipotle peppers? The texture/consistency is thick, which I enjoy, and coats a chip nicely. Would I bring this salsa to the cookout? Absolutely not. Would I use this to make slow cooked chicken or beef in a crockpot? Yeah I would.
The Bettergoods Smoky Fire Roasted Salsa has a really good smoky taste. The spice level was perfect for me. I make my own salsa and the texture and taste was truly different. I prefer my salsa to be a little more chunky but it does have a pretty good flavor. If you are used to buying store bought salsa and not looking for a restaurant quality salsa, this would be a good buy. I mixed it in with my taco meat and it definitely spiced it up.
I'm not a fan. It's very thick, like they used a lot of tomato paste, which is about the only thing besides smoke you can taste. If you're a fan of jarred salsas, it might not be so bad, but if you're used to fresh/refrigerated kinds, you'll be disappointed. . . . .
