These Blue Dragon rice paper wrappers (about 14–17 sheets per 4.7 oz pack) are made from simple ingredients: rice flour, tapioca flour, water, and salt—no added colors, flavors, preservatives, or gluten. They're vegan, gluten-free, Non-GMO Project Verified, and low-calorie (around 60 per serving), making them a clean, healthy base for homemade spring rolls.
It may take a few tries to get a spring roll perfect, but the Blue Dragon Wrappers are great. You can fill them with anything you like. The wrapper itself, being rice paper, hasn't much flavor on its own, but that's the way it should be. The filling and sauce are what makes a spring roll. The wrappers keep in the pantry for ages, and you can make spring rolls for a fraction of the restaurant price, which are just as delicious. Super fast, and very good, nice way to use up bits of leftover chicken, veggies, etc. You can find recipes and ideas on the Bue Dragon website, too.
These are amazing to eat and wonderful to work with they are a very tasty thing to use to make either spring rolls or fried rolls and my family loves them soon much that I barely get any but it's okay because I get to feed my children a lot of vegetables:D
I LOVE these wrappers! It is so easy to make spring rolls. They are not meant to be fried or used for egg rolls. They are just meant for the filling and to be wrapped and eaten. I use a cabbage and carrot mix and cook it with some ginger and garlic. I put the wrappers in hot water for 12 seconds and then pull it out and let it dry for a second. I put the filling in and wrap it around. There is no clean up and they soak up whatever sauce you add to it. I definitely recommend these to everyone!
I thought I was getting egg roll wrappers. Disappointed that you don’t have any. Will have to shop elsewhere for that. Used to get them all the time. Why did you quit having them. Spring roll wrappers do not replace them.
I found these listed on a top recommended spring roll wrapper brands but I beg to differ. They consistently split open after being rolled, even when I try a shorter soaking time (5 seconds instead of 10). I don’t think it was how they were stored as there aren’t visible cracks before soaking. I think they are just flimsy and you pretty much need to double wrap your roll for it to stay intact. Also these are not for frying, couldn’t help but notice all those comments. These are for Vietnamese spring rolls.
Blue Dragon Spring Roll Wrappers were very damaged when delivered. Tried to use anyway but were so awful they could not be eaten as was another brand of shelf stable wraps. I was comparing them all and the perishable wraps won on all points! Never again will I try shelf-stable wraps! Extremely disappointing; taste was like the consistency of a wet plastic glove. Sticky like glue but would not hold together all the small pieces. Calories low because you cannot eat them. I will be very grateful to get a refund for this horrible experience. I had so much fun making the dishes with the perishable wraps and it was prettier, easier using the tasty perishable wraps! Perishable wraps can be frozen also. The perishable wraps had a good website, simple instructions and many delicious recipes! Perishable wraps were an entirely different brand!
My whole pack was broken up in pieces to where I wasn’t even able to use the spring rolls. I had to throw them away tried to take them back to the store and I was told that I wasn’t able to get a refund or exchange them that I needed to explain the situation to you.
Warning ⚠️!!!! On the back of all 3 packages I bought yesterday. it shows on the back of the package a warning ⚠️ and it said Warning: Cancer and reproductive Harm www.P65Warnings.ca.gov/food I didn't notice this on the advertisement of this product from the seller.
Well first they were cracked. so can't roll as easy. Second I didn't know they came with a cancer lead warning. third I did exactly what instructions said. It was like eating a latex glove that was marinated in meat tenderizer. next time I'll just buy pork fat and boil it. It would taste better. wasted money. And I can/have ate just about anything.. Don't waste your money.
