I wanted to get into sewing but wasn't sure if I do a big buy so I went with this one for its reasonable price with all the features and it has been a blast learning on it. I highly recommend for first timers like myself!

Love this machine so much, I have 2 of them! Got so much use out of these machines! Only thing I could ever complain about is, my bobbin rewinder died, AND that its not better advertised that the machine doesn't require oiling! That should be on the front of the box in huge letters!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love my Brother Sewing machine. Its easy set up, easy to thread and lightweight. I can't tell you how many projects I've tackled since last week. Ok so I need a little practice on hemming my trouser pants but this will give me that experience. I made face masks this last weekend with old flat sheets that are never going to be used. I looked up a tutorial online how to start a quilt and this is what I am working on now. The possibilities are endless with this machine. Love love love the light tiffany blue color. It fits on my office desk for now but I am working on making my own Sewing space In one of the rooms. Just ordered a bunch of thread and will tackle my window curtains next as they are long and have been dragging on the floor since purchased so I will easily hemm them. I absolutely recommend this to everyone as a project, hobbie, necessity and just so much fun to use. I feel accomplished with this machine.

I'm not sure why others have had issues with this machine, I'm thinking operator error? I got this 6 months ago and it has been so easy to use, wonderful wonderful wonderful- a few times it jammed up because I had accidentally moved the tension knob but once I used it enough I learned what was wrong and can fix it easily. I've sewn lots of masks, several blankets, and 2 tshirt blankets as well.

That makes it easier to use. I know I will have many hours of pleasure using this machine.I already made a little purse for my Grandma to hold her cell phone on to her wheelchair. This is a great product!

This machine is a great buy and I love it except for one thing. The bobbin case is a headache to load. I'm elderly and my fingers are not nimble enough to do the difficult loading of the bobbin into the case. Vivian Curtis and I purchased my machine in 2020 during COVID.

When I got this product I was excited as my mother is into sewing and still sews at 76 age. I was waiting for them to visit me from India so I could ask her to use it. this sewing machine has 17 unique built-in stitches and its easier to use. My moms old machine is very hard to use but she is very happy with this. its getting her work done in less time with precision. the best thing about this is a drop in top bobbin which is jam resistance. I remember helping my mom when I was young with putting the bobbin in her old machine. this one is way easier. this product is tough and sturdy but still lightweight that my mom can lift it and move it around easily. all in all my mom is very happy with this sewing machine and can get stuff done in less time.

I got into sewing in August of 2025 and loved it! This machine specifically was the one I wanted because I wanted to do small projects like wallets, keychains, small pouches, etc. Well, that was a mistaken. It broke in November and just stoped working one day. I tried everything to fix it, i'm going to have to throw it out. Do better brother, this is sad…
