(3 pack) Chromecast with Google TV - Streaming Entertainment in 4K HDR

I have an older TV model (I believe 2015 or 14) and I love how this chromecast turned it to a smart TV, well, sort of. The remote control is very useful but needed to learn how to use it with the apps, didn't take long though. The initial setup was fully guided and clear I guess even without technical background you will not have an issue following the instructions. You can link your streaming services subscriptions easily and can install other streaming apps, and some games. All in all, I love it

Lovin it So far, they even threw in 6 months of Peacock premium. And a free week of Sling. set up was a breeze. really enhanced my picture quality. And you can hook ear phones or buds to it now via Bluetoof... Better than Cable if you ask me. Awesomesauce

The goods were perfect. But the delivery time was too long. It took almost two weeks to get there from the east coast to the west coast.Besides, why is blue always out of stock? I hope I can buy blue.

This is an amazing streaming device that hooks up to the google home environment, is very speedy and has the responsivness you'd expect from a Google product. I bought several more I was so impressed! Highly recommended!!!

The google tv was an amazing replacement device for my Roku TV. It's fast, easy to use, and has so many more channels than the Roku. The remote is great too,

When I unboxed the google tv it was amazing packing. The controller and the cords to the google tv it was SOFT. It’s fast and easy to set up it’s done in 5-10 minutes the only slow thing is when downloading the newest update. The “hub” (Menu) is fast and easy to go through, overall I would recommend this product 5/5 stars

I love the cute colors! Great price with a nice interface. Perfect for turning any tv essentially into a smart tv. I mainly bought this for chrome casting, which is great for screen mirroring both android and apple devices. I love using it for games like jackbox party packs (and you can access all the packs for $5/month on amazon luna!) which is a great game for family/friends, and chromecast makes it so convenient to play the game almost anywhere. Casting works flawlessly on normal home wifi networks, but be warned that chrome casting (plus airplay and screen mirroring) doesn’t work on wifi networks that use AP isolation, such as some apartment or campus wifi’s. (you can still use the rest of the Google TV features though). You can bypass this by connecting your own router to the ethernet and connecting all of your devices to that router’s wifi. Though many places don’t allow this and will block the router if found so you should try to hide it by spoofing the mac address to something common like an xbox (and register it with the correct vendor OUI, such as 50:1A:C5:xx:xx:xx for an xbox one) and changing the SSID to something like “Direct-91-HP OfficeJet Pro 8710”. Pro-tip: watch basically anything for free by casting from a laptop. Get a google chrome browser extension like uBlock Orgin to block ads, and stream almost any show/movie from a pirating website (look on reddit r/piracy to find good pirating websites that currently work).

Other than the price going up almost 4 times since I bought one last year (March 2024 was less than $30 - Now was $110). This is a good product. Mine quit working and I think it was related to the power surges we kept getting. Other than that, I love the option to improve an older TV (2017) that would drag on many different shows. Beats having to look for a new TV and wall mount since I would have to replace the wall mount I currently have too.

Great piece of hardware, works so much better than the older chromcasts However, they followed Amazon's method of serving ads on the homescreen and not providing an easy way to get rid of all of them. Very disappointing.

I absolutely loved my old Chromecast and couldn't wait to get this one set up! Took me over 2 hours to finish the set up, half the time nothing works, just shows a black screen, but you can hear sound, lags worse than anything I've seen before, and doesn't start on the episode you left off on, just starts back at the beginning and doesn't show you have watched anything. I would not recommend spending money on this at all!
