I bought these little crystals to explain prisms and rainbows to my three year-old grandson. They are just the right size for a small hand to hold against the sunshine. They produce the most beautiful rainbows all around the room and it is something we continue to do on a sunny morning. It is science and learning, and just the beauty of nature.

I love this set of crystal ball prism, they cast a beautiful display of rainbow colors on every wall when the sun catches them. The best thing about the ball shape is it's pretty heavy and when you twirl it you watch it spin in one direction and than it spins back the opposite way. I used a long length of nylon thread and knotted it so it has a double strand. I bought a second set for my screen patio. I'm thinking of purchasing another set to give as a gift.

they came in individual boxes and in a big envelope package that should have been in bubble wrap. Every one of the boxes were damaged and one was not even in the box it was just loose flopping around.

When I opened the package, the presents were much smaller than I expected. They also looked flawed on the top. I decided not to even test them in the window just to send them back because I would've been embarrassed to give them as gifts.

The crystal balls are nice but there is not a top loop or a connecter in which to put a chain or string in to hold the crystal, just an inconspucuous opening.

The Glass on the crystals was chipped and scrathed.

I ordered 40mm , which is described in the items description. I clearly received 20mm.
