Our son just tuned 8, and is very passionate about historic ocean liners. He loves all things Titanic, Queen Mary, Britannic, Lusitania, etc etc. He came across this set of three historic ships, and immediately put it at the top of his bday list. It arrived very promptly, and he opened the gift today %26 is so happy with it! The extra details of the torpedos, iceberg, mine, etc, and especially the attachable crow's nests are so cool. The ships, for their sizes, are very accurate models with lots of good detailing. Only small downside is that they don't float very well, but that would be difficult given their sizes. Overall, very impressed with the craftsmanship and details included in these ships!
