Dinty Moore Beef Stew is the closest thing to home made. I am older and I can't spend the time in the kitchen to make my Beef Stew so I found Dinty Moore the next best and my whole family loves Dinty. Grandkids love it as well. I highly recommend this brand.
I really like the flavor of this stew. It is thick and hearty with nice chunks of beef. Sometimes on a cold winter day, this just fills the bill. Only takes a couple minutes to heat it either in microwave or on stove top. If I make my own beef stew it takes hours to cook. This is so much easier and the flavor is great.
Miss eggs in box really 2 twice Happy on discount on the 18 count mix chips Love discount on the 24 count Big Red Once chicken smelled bad Loved reduced price on those can just hate that a lot of can I've gotten have very big dent on them and then hard to return to get a better one they just won't exchange without a receipt and didn't know that and I leave 20 miles to the Walmart so no choice but to use it same with tomatoes when I open bag you can the smell the rotten of it and can't believe they still send them to me that way
Always keep a can of Dinty Moore Beef Stew on hand. It is so easy and quick to heat through. Very filling, very satisfying. Good meal when you are too tired to cook but are really hungry. This will hit the spot. Sometimes I add Great Value Frozen Corn or another vegetable with it.
YES !!!!! Simple ingredients for a hearty, healthy delicious meal. Enjoy right from the can or pour it over rice, quinoa , pasta or noodles for a quick easy carbs meal. It has real meat and vegetables. You're only limited by your imagination. Season to your taste and add cheese, parsley, cilantro or other herbs and spices. Add a salad or side vegetables like green beans and enjoy with your favorite bread because the meaty gravy is delicious. This is a very filling meal and you will enjoy it. Dinty Moore Beef Stew is so tasty. I love the flavor and texture. It could use more carrots. I have at times added a well-drained can or frozen peas %26 carrots to it to stretch a small can out. One large can feeds three people with a salad. This is some good stuff!
I don't cook much anymore but I used to use it as a base for making chili which was a bit of a long drawn out process but the end result was part of Dinty Moore stew which was part of my secret. Now you know part of my secret;) It's a good cheap meal. There's not as meat in it as there used to be but still fairly good for the price.
Let me explain. I love Dinty Moore and these cans taste exactly like all the others. But I mistakenly bought them not realizing they are 38 oz size cans! They're huge! The size of Sacramento Tomato Juice cans! I normally eat 15 oz (small narrow can) or 20 oz (larger wide squat can) sizes and they're just the right amount. These size cans are for multiple people dinners, or you must put at least half of it in a container in the fridge for later. Although the stuff does keep fine! Just be aware of the size you're getting.
To really make this can "pop" with more flavor, I always have to add in Mixed Vegetables, the more the better! Sadly, Just the can itself, lacks a lot of veggies. Pour over rice to make it a bigger meal as well. But in all honesty, if it came in a Great Value can, I'd rather pay that price than this.
Truthfully, I have always like the item, but that was 30 years ago, so my real evaluation is just my expressing exasperation in the dented cans along the bottoms in the seams, which means there very well could be botulism , so even though I was offered a credit to my account for 3 of the cans, I cannot even give them to charity out of an abundance of caution- food is precious in these times
