Quality and Quick Meal

Addison June 10, 2026

This is a product that maintains their quality decade after decade. Its a quick to prepare good meal that has always been the best. The price is fair, not cheap, but it is a low cost meal that is easy to prepare and satisfies the expectations you paid for.

I love the flavor of this beef stew. It's very flavorful without being overly salty. My husband and I cook instant rice, and then pour hot beef stew over the rice to make a delicious, quick meal! It's great to have this handy beef stew when you don't feel like cooking.

Love It!

Dianne April 29, 2026

A favorite since childhood when Mom would warm up this beef stew on our Coleman Stove on our picnic table, in a camping sauce pan. It was made for lunch on a cool day as we tent camped! It always tasted great with a slice of buttered bread, maybe homemade preserves, and some fresh fruit for dessert! We used a cooler with huge block of ice, so canned foods were a great solution unless dad would grill foods for dinner with mom making fresh salads and use fresh veggies / fruits that we bought at country stands in the area. The stew has lots of tender beef with many carrots and potatoes in a yummy sauce. Great comfort food! We all loved it!

Homemade taste

Terri April 2, 2026

Tastes like homemade. The beef could be thicker. At one point it was, so this is a worrying change. Even though the cuts of meat are smaller, the texture and tase are still great. Also, even though the cuts of meat are smaller, the actual portion size is still more than adequate. This is a great product to have as a main meal or for a quick snack.

Linda April 1, 2026

Dinty Moore is good stew considering it is canned. i added a can of Campbells beef gravy to a 20 oz can of stew along with half can of drained, sliced carrots. I seasoned with pepper, onion powder and garlic powder. I heated it till it was hot. Quite tasty.

I've had Dinty Moore beef stew for quite some time. I love the flavor, gravy, potatoes, carrots, and stew meat. It is a hearty meal in a can. Very delicious. Filling. I still continue to purchase a few cans when I'm at the market.

Delicious but salty

Roberta April 1, 2026

Quick and easy dinners when I don't feel like preparing anything. I stock these for those occasions. My only issue is with the saltiness. I open the can, put the stew in a colander, and run it under the faucet for a few seconds to wash out the excess salt. Perfect. If you are on a salt restricted diet as well, you don't have to avoid these delicious beef stews, just give them a quick rinse. The taste is still delicious.

Taste like what dog food smells like.

Ann April 9, 2026

Not impressed. I am not sure if my taste buds have changed since I was in my 20's,. but it leaves a great deal to be desired. The meat was essentially nonexistent, there was more broth than vegetables and very little meat. The price was reasonable until you take into consideration the flavors.
