Thanks to miss Nina pool I was introduced to this product. I never thought an after shower body oil would be for me. After a shower, my skin would thirst for moisture. Since using the after shower oil, my skin is very soft and I am using less product like body butter. I use the oil after every shower, especially after a shave. Add in food grade extracts to creating a personal scent. Definitely a fan of Dr. Teals products. The shower oil is not too heavy or greasy. It will soak into the skin soon after application. My skin has never been so soft.
This oil is so good! I bought if for my husband to moisturize his skin, and he loves it too. It is a thicker oil than the ones in my collection, and it absorbs so smoothly into the skin without feeling greasy. I mixed this oil into my skin prep prior to applying fragrance with a body butter, or 24-hour moisturizer, and slather it on. I allow 5-10 minutes absorption time, then I apply a body mist, then my parfum of the day. Using oil in a moisturizer is my Step 3 of body prep. 1st is exfoliation, then a body wash, then this or another oil in my oil collection w/ my butters, then a body mist, then parfum. Yeah, it’s a process. But YOU must take care of your skin, and Oils are a MUST HAVE!! Oil provides longevity for the fragrance of whatever your scent of the day is! They lock in moisture, provide smoothness and shine on the skin, and provide a canvas to hold onto parfum all day. I HIGHLY recommend this oil, and at the price point, it really is affordable. I really love it! my hubby told me to get my own hahaha. It smells clean. Even if it’s all you apply to your skin, it’s one of the most important parts in providing moisture to your skin to retain elasticity and prevent dryness. It gives your skin a boost of moisture, and a healthy glow once it absorbs. Oil is my daily go-to for skin care! Sometimes it all I use w/ a concentrated Perfume Oil. In any case, Oil should be in everyone’s essential skin care collection.
I have an autoimmune condition that dries out my skin. Dr. Teals' oils work perfectly for me in the shower or in a tub soak. My skin is left smooth, and the moistures is continuous. I use one of the Dr. Teals' empty bottles to mix a small amount of oil with warm water. Then at the end of my shower I squirt it over my body then pat dry. I love to soak, which helps achy joints and tendons. I use the Forming Bath Restorative Minerals and other forming baths for the soaks. Near the end of the soak, I squirt one of my favorite Dr. Teal oils into the bath and soak 10 additional minutesRe. Wonderful!
Dr. Teal's Shea Butter Moisturizing Bath %26 Body Oil helps your skin retains moisture and feels soft and smooth to the touch, not oily. I use the method where you apply the oil as soon as you finish showering and then just dry off with an absorbent towel. The scent is very light, it won't interfere with perfume and it doesn't trigger my sensitive sinuses. I highly recommend this product.
My skin feels nourished and looks much better after only a few days of use. The sandalwood fragrance is light and refreshing. An excellent oil that has restored my dry skin. I purchased the 6 pack of the affordable excellent oil.
I love Dr. Teal's Shea Butter Body Oil! I mix it into my bottle of shower gel and shake it up really good and use it daily! It feels amazing and you do not loose the suds with your oil mixed into your bath gel. The oil really moisturizes my skin, doesn't feel oily, and is so soothing. Dr. Teal's Body Oil feels and smells great without breaking the bank. They have come out with more scents recently, so I plan on trying some of them. The price for this body oil is very reasonable.
I use this after using a sugar scrub in my shower. I have dry skin, and this is very hydrating. My skin soaks it right up, so there isn’t any residue by the time I put my clothes on. It is light. It doesn’t stain or show on your clothes. For precaution, I’d wait a few minutes before putting them on. It actually dries faster than body lotion in my opinion. I wish I could smell more almond in it.
I apply after lotion when I get out of the shower and it makes my skin so soft. It smells amazing and it lingers for around 12 hours. I’ve even gotten compliments on how I smell. A little goes a long way as well. The only downside is that it leaves your skin a bit tacky for a couple hours after application, but it doesn’t bother me as long as I don’t touch it.
I really love how the Dr Teals body oil make my skin feel so soft and supple. I never have to worry about my skin being ashy, it stays moisturized and hydrated all day.
great product but highly disappointed in the size, you now get a much smaller bottle than previously (as in 2 months). they think you won't notice or say anything but it's happening to almost all beauty products, if it had been the regular size it would have been 5 stars.
