(3 pack) Dritz 1" Sewing & Crafting Non-Roll Elastic Black 1 Yard

I have used elastic for many projects. I make bands for around my Bible and prayer books to keep my markers from falling out. I've sewn these on the bottoms of fitted sheets to keep the corners from popping off the mattresses. A couple of thinner strips will hold mittens to cuffs so the kids keep the mittens on their hands and not lose them. I've made elastic bands for sleeves to keep them up while I'm working. I wish elastic came in different colors. Sew bands on towels to hold them onto drawers or peg hooks. A wide band near the long side edge of a towel will hold the ends of a hair towel so you can keep your hair up in the towel longer. You can even make your own belts and kids belts with elastic and a buckle. Make a band to keep your pants legs from catching in bike tire spokes, too. I've made puppy and kitten collars with buckles to get them used to having something around their necks that I can add tags to. Leave the elastic loose enough so not to choke them.

The Dritz 1” non-roll elastic worked well for my leggings waistband. Nice sturdy elastic from a good brand. Reasonable price and an excellent value.
