Cute set. Unfortunately I will need to figure out a way to make the lines more visible. I don't understand why the mat is blue and the lines are barely visible and blue too. For my eyes it's nearly invisible so I will have to trace it in black or something before I can actually use it and that's likely to keep me from even bothering. It's the extra work these days when you order something that should be logically created - in this case ‘visible' without requiring the consumer to do extra steps before being able to start. It seems to be a thing now. Anyway, I didn't mark it down because of that but it should be noted. If you have eye problems you might have to do some work before you can start using them. Look at the photos I've included and judge for yourself.

This is super good for beginners! I recently started to want to customize my clothes and wanted to learn to embroider and this is so easy to use for learning how to do that! The colors arent as many as id like but since this is a starter kit it works fine Getting the hang of it isnt easy but im getting there.

Be sure to look at all the pictures- most are deceiving and you'll think there are 3 hoops, but there's one. Nice product and nice colors! Looking forward to learning!

This set has all the materials to make three pretty embroidered cloth pictures, but it only comes with one embroidery hoop so you need to get more if you want to display them. It still less expensive than buying all the embroidery floss alone. The instructions are very minimal and I wish they were better – there is no indication of what order to complete the parts in. Know that this is not a cross stitch though it is described that way in the listing. It is all satin stitch and French knots.

This is a really cute little beginner kit! It comes with everything you need to get started and it has QR codes with videos for all of the different stitches, making it really easy to learn. I found that the instructions alone weren't quite enough. I ended up having to find some videos on YouTube to learn how to tie off at the end of a row, etc. but it was easy to find other resources for what the kit was lacking. It also doesn't come with wooden rings to display the pieces when they're complete. It only comes with one ring to keep the one you're working on in. I really enjoyed working on it and learned a lot! Overall I'm happy with the kit, just know that you may also need to use some other resources or buy wooden rings. Very fun and easy to learn and I can't get over how cute they are!

I really wanted to get into cross stitch, so this is great to help me learn the different stitches. I was disappointed, and it is likely my own fault for not reading closely, but I was anticipating getting 3 hoops in the package, but this only came with one. I do like that the bag it comes in is resealable. That way I don't have to find my own storage bin for it. I can just keep everything in the bag it comes in. The product itself felt decent quality and I have no complaints there. It comes with everything you need to get yourself started in cross stitch. It's cool that it gives individual print outs with instructions for each of the patterns.

I would have loved to give this a 5 star review but after opening the package and having items missing and having to go in for a refund. I couldn't in good conscience give a good review. I really wanted this item and am now gun shy about trying to reorder.
