Since having a post-surgical MRSA Infection, I NEVER want anything close to that experience. These Equate Antibacterial Medium Plastic Bandages, 60 count work well for smaller cuts, nicks or abrasions. I like that they are plastic and not fabric. The fabric bandages don't hold up well to water. These do. Plus, unlike the fabric bandages, if you're active, these don't get the frayed edges, and the adhesive stays stuck. The price is reasonable. I like to have at least one extra box of these.
VERY affordable staple for any First Aid Kit.. Just a couple cents, each. Plastic protection better than fabric bandages. Keeps boo boos dry, and sterile. Band-aids have enough adhesion to stay in place, but won't hurt to remove.
I was really impressed with these bandages because for so long I have been buying name brand-simply out of habit! I'm now having to stretch dollars and was happy to find I would not have to compromise quality with these Equate bandages! They provide long-lasting protection and you cannot beat the price!
Finally I found a band aid that will stay on. I Realized that the old plastic ones are the best and I will never buy any other kind. I have tried the fabric ones and they do not stay on for me. Invariably, when I put one on my finger I have to wash my hand and the fabric ones roll up and do not stay on. I put one of these on and even with washing hands it stayed on for 2 days. Thank you Equate.
I have diabetes and my wounds take a long time to heal. i have to be extra careful of infection. i find equate bandages work best and stick on the best. i always get equate, and I've tried both name brand and store brand. why not save when store brand is better.
These work just fine for what they need to do. The only issue is probably the same with all brands is that if they're on your fingers (which I need them for most), they roll up as you're working with your hands. If you're just needing them for minor scrapes and issues, these work great for a good price! Flexible with movement too.
I use a lot of bandages on my fingers, so I like the high count on these. For some reason, the adhesive doesn't seem to stick well on these sometimes and they loosen and/or fall off. I guess that's the trade-off for them being relatively inexpensive. In any case, I prefer to replace them frequently, so this product works well for me.
The adhesive is only partially sticky and comes off easily. The bandage also peels off easily if it comes into contact with water. Kinda useless bandages to be honest, especially on hands and feet. These bandages might be good for flat sections of skin that don't rub against anything else, but how would you know in advance if your wound is gonna be on that part of your skin? Just spend the extra money on better bandages.
Worst bandaids I've ever used in my life ! There's only a small drizzle of adhesive just around the square of cotton in the middle and that's it, so if you can get one to stick it falls off within a coup!e of minutes., it's so bad that my bandaid loving kids won't even fool with them. Very disappointing considering I love most all of the equate brand item.
They won't stay on once you get a little warm. So if you're wearing pants, long skirt, ectra, they just fall off, stick to your clothes on the inside or fall thru on to the ground. I purchased another package just to see if the previous one was just a bad bunch, nope, they did the same thing.
