These salon clips work great. I use them for separating my hair when drying/styling it. They hold firmly, even small amounts of hair. I sometimes use them to put my hair up. They work really well and I got them for a great price. They clip and come out real easily. I would buy again and I bought a set for my daughter as well. I have shoulder length layered hair. My daughter has hair down to the middle of her back. She also uses them when braiding my 4 yr old grandbabies hair. So thick or thin these clips hold your hair in place.

These were NOT the ones I ordered...these were a 'substitute' (without my ok). I ordered the Great Value brand of the silver colored/metal, simple clips, which would be good enough for my purpose. I have long hair %26 needed simple clips to hold back each section out of my way to ready for the next section of hair. I really thought these would be too 'bulky' and a nuisance...maybe even get 'caught' in my hair, but they didn't. They are really easy to use and fairly sturdy. I don't remember how much they charged me for these...I think a few dollars...4 at the most. The silver clips could also be used when HEMMING something, but these black clips...not so sure. But, I still think they work well and do the job.

I use these clips for keeping my hair up and out of the way after doing a conditioning treatment. I also use them for when I color my hair. They work really well and hold my hair up.

I have been wanting these clips for some time and I finally got them. They are great and work for both very curly hair and very straight and fine hair. I'll be purchasing another set.

Really quality product, They work exactly how you anticipate. And they are very sturdy so you don't have to worry about them snapping off I would definitely recommend them.

These work great! They're sturdy and don't budge as long as I gather my hair into the clip properly. I use these while straightening my hair and they don't leave crimp marks, which is exactly what I was looking for. Great value for the price.

I just received this item. I removed them from the packaging with no issues. Tried each one out individually to ensure they worked properly. They seem like they're strong and of good quality. They held my hair up as expected. No issues. The pricing was better than most for these types of items. Only time will tell regarding their durability and how long they will last. Hoping good things.

I can create all sorts of hairstyles with these clips, from sleek ponytails to elegant updos. Plus, the six-pack means I always have a clip on hand, no matter what my hair is doing. Five stars.

not the very best maid but you do get what you pay for and these are a lot cheaper than some brands. so I would recommend them simply for the price but if there's something you want to use every single day they tend to pull on the hair so I probably wouldn't recommend them for a daily use
