This is my go too lotion, and has been for several years. This lotion moisturizes wonderfully. I love the scent. Makes my skin soft. I especially use this lotion to moisturize my feet at night. Keeps them from cracking. Awe such a nice feeling. 😃 I hope this lotion remains affordable.
I BOUGHT THIS MOISTURE CREAM AT MY NEIGHBORHOOD WALMART SEVERAL MONTHS AGO, AND I NOTICED THAT I T WAS GETTING LOW. WHEN I WENT BACK TO WALMART THEY WERE OUT OF IT, SO I DECIDED TO ORDER IT ON LINE. I LIKE THE FACT THAT IT MAKES MY SKIN FEEL NICE AND SMOOTH.
This product is perfect for spring summer months when its hot out and one still needs to moisturize the skin. Its lightweight for my needs and love that it has a faint smell and not overpowering. So many products are just highly perfumed and who needs all that added fragrance. Lite fragrance works for this products as does the moisturizing on the skin - not heavy or sticky and perfect for warmer weather.
I've used many of the more expensive lotions and creams for my skin. This out perfoms them all. It keeps my skin soft and itch free for several days. My dermatologist even noticed and asked what I was using. It feels so nice. I like that it doesn't have a strong smell. Just does it's job and in a great way.
I really like this lotion, the scent is a bit strong at first, and I do like fragrance, could be a little more subtle. Otherwise, works great on my 66-year-old skin without spending a fortune.
I've been buying this brand for years. If you use it every day on your body after a shower, even on your feet. Your skin is soft. You shouldn't have to buy separate brand for your feet.
I'm so disappointed that this product has changed its scent. It's tough to decide how to review it star-wise because the feel of the lotion and the way it moisturizes are still excellent. This has been my favorite lotion for probably 15 years. I always buy the Walmart Equate brand of this lotion and I love it more than many more expensive and "better" brands. I love how it sinks into my skin and moisturizes quickly. I love how it feels; it is on the wet side, but I like that, because it's easy to spread over every crack and feels like I'm actually giving my skin something moist to hydrate it. It also settles quickly, so once I rub it in, I don't feel like I'm still greasy, wet or sticky like many other lotions. However, the scent is a new downfall. It used to have no discernible scent; the smell was so mild, I never thought about it. But my stash recently ran out, so this is my first new bottle in a while, and the new smell is immediately noticeable. The scent isn't necessarily unpleasant, though I don't really care for it, either; but regardless, it is a strong scent, and I don't like strongly scented skin care products. My skin is already sensitive as is (hence the ultra moisturizing lotion), so I don't need added fragrance. I also have other fragrances I like far better, so I don't want my moisturizing lotion to add a new layer of a fragrance that I don't really care for. I wish this had the same mild scent it has had for many years. It's enough to make me hesitant to buy a new bottle when this runs out.
The ordering experience was good, both items delivered to my door the next afternoon. Delivery crew took a good clear photo of the item next to my doorstep. The lotion is what I had a problem with. The product is described as "compare to the scent of Jergens" (the cherry-almond scent) but what was delivered to me was "compare to the scent of Olay", which I don't particularly care for. But, the lotion is about moisturizing my hands, not smelling like I wanted. The other issue is the pump. When I looked at other reviews there were a fair number of complaints about the pump not working, and the one I received didn't work either. Thank goodness I still had the empty bottle from the last time I purchased (which DID have the cherry-almond scent) so I just switched out pumps, and it's delivering lotion. You would think after all the complaints of faulty pumps, that Walmart might have done something about it by now. The lotion itself works as advertised, it moisturizes lightly without feeling greasy, and stays on pretty well for several hours. I just don't care for the smell. I typically leave pretty good reviews on products because I adhere to the "you get what you pay for" school of thought, and Walmart's products normally ARE pretty good for the prices. This one purchase, however, left a lot to be desired.
After I first used this lotion after my recent order, I remembered why I hated it years ago when I first tried this product. The "scent" is overwhelming in my experience and I regret my last order and will be trashing the lotion. Usually scented products do not bother me, but now on two times trying this product, I felt lightheaded and sick after using it. As far as helping my dry skin, it was just okay. I will order only unscented lotions going forward. For most users, probably a mild scent is acceptable, but this lotion crosses the line for me.
First off my lotion was dropped and the head of it was smashed meaning it won't turn to pop up the pump so it's useless. Hey employee, if you drop something do not send it anyways. Throw it out and send me a new lotion that hasn't been dropped. This happens a lot. Is there anyone out there who takes pride in their job like I do? I like the lotion but it is nothing like the Jergens Ultra Healing like the little sticker on bottle says to compare it to. This Equate lotion is runny and thin but it smells really good. The price of this lotion is a $15 difference so this Equate lotion is more affordable atleast for me.
