Feline Fresh pine pellet cat litter

Debbie August 9, 2024

Feline Fresh is wonderful! I have 2 cats. I make sure to remove the solid waste daily. There is NO bad smell in the house. People coming into the house don't know I have cats until they see the litter boxes. They ask what kind of litter I use and are surprised the litter helps so much with the smell and doesn't need to be changed frequently. I empty the cat boxes every two weeks and use the residue as mulch along a fence. NO urine smell in the mulch. I highly recommend Feline Fresh!

clean and cos effective

deborah October 20, 2025

I prefer this litter for my cat. There is little to no dust, unlike clay. The pine absorbs all urine and helps to keep odor down for the "other". This is safer for kitty and better for me. It is non-scoopable so I change out the litter every 2 days. She goes through a bag a month, at 11.00 that is very reasonable.

The best I have ever used

pris February 5, 2026

controlled odor and so easy to use and keep litter box clean. I use the shaker litter box. Urine turns it to powder and a few shakes and it goes down into the holding section. Scooping the solid is easier than any litter I have used. The room never has anything but a clean smell. Thanks for this wonderful product. And great price!

feline pine cat litter

Kale January 7, 2026

I prefer this natural pine in the house for cat litter rather than the other Dusty gravy things you can use or the ones heavily perfumed. My cat loves it. she gets in there and tries to dig to China and it's all good. I honestly wish there was a better way of scooping it or cleaning out the messy ones without throwing so much of the pellets away. I kind of sift it but there needs to be a better way to this. has a pleasant fresh natural smell. there's always going to be dust with any cat litter. this is less dust and at least this is not chemicals flying up in your face

Great cat litter.

Revette July 20, 2025

I have never used this before and decided to give it a try. I was buying clay litter. But with Feline Fresh, I don't have to change the litter as often because it takes a while before the pellets break down into dust, And even then the litter is still ok a few days more. The pine also helps control the urine odor.

One of the better pine litters

Casha October 28, 2025

After reading many of the 1* reviews, it's clear that people need to research pine litter usage. When I got my cat, I started researching for a better litter. Clay litter DOESN'T break down? It sits in the landfill forever?? 😲😳🤯 Holy cow! So, a little extra work on my part, and I have repurposed the used sawdust (no cat poo ☠️!) ONLY on flowerbeds, not for vegetable beds. I watched several YouTube videos until I felt I had a good handle on it, transitioned her over slowly but adding the pine litter by one handful at a time. She also never buried her poops being a previous indoor/outdoor kitten. I have a scoop with small slats that helps me scoop up the wet sawdust. You can also buy a large one on Amazon and sift the sawdust from the large pellets over your bag. I did that before scooping daily. What a massive difference!! It takes all of 5 minutes. Sorry this turned into a tutorial. But ... in saying this, this litter does work in absorbing, and my cat uses the box. I don't notice an odor unless she uses it for what it's intended. I rarely see a pellet, and if I do, it's easy to pick up. There's no dust to track.

Amazingly good

Robert April 24, 2026

When my life partner, a "cat whisperer" told me about this, I was shocked, to say the least. I cannot believe how much easier, how much more effective, and how much less expensive this is to use instead of traditional cat litter. Not to mention how much lighter than one of those buckets or boxes of traditional cat litter. Oh, and talk about a natural deodorizer. Now, if someone visits my home, unless they see one of my cats or one of the cat toys, they would not know I had cats, because there would be no smell of cat.

Good idea but improvements needed

Sandra February 5, 2026

This would be great idea if there was no smell. Cats noses are more sensitive than ours and I didn't like the smell. The pellets are hard had to put in extra cat box put enough water on them to turn to sawdust let dry then use. Pellets as they are hurt the cats sensitive paws. If you press down with your hand and it hurts your hand then don't subject your cat to it either. Sorry not my favorite. Price good but I had to figure out way to make it better to use it. This doesn't clump either. Just being honest here.

ER February 21, 2026

There was way more grey, fine dust in this bag that pellets. I always bought another brand, and had a great experience with it, but decided to save some money and try this one- don't make the same mistake I did. The dust spreads all over my bathroom when I refill the litter box, and it doesn't smell at all like pine. Very, very disappointed

IT WAS A NIGHTMARE

William September 24, 2025

My husband was shocked and said they took wood pellets and called it litter and sold it. Myself i was totally disappointed. The cats refused to use the boxes, luckily we keep plastic around the boxes, because they started going on the plastic. Tried mixing it with the clay clumping litter (i wanted to stop using because of health and dust), the pellets won't fall through the scoop, so wasting this expensive "litter" by having to throw away unused pellets with wet ones, poop sits there right on top, they wouldn't try to bury it, it was messy and just everything about it was a bad experience. Ordered 6. Opened 2. Got less back on each, than what we paid. Even have receipt were they took all 4 of the returned ones and refunded only 2 and when we looked at the receipt it showed they refunded 3 but paid us for 2 ( at a lower refund price). showed customer service, they saw it with their own eyes. had to refund us, the lesser amount, not what we paid, one bag at a time to make sure we even got back anything on each bag. back to using clumping clay litter.
