Feline Fresh is wonderful! I have 2 cats. I make sure to remove the solid waste daily. There is NO bad smell in the house. People coming into the house don't know I have cats until they see the litter boxes. They ask what kind of litter I use and are surprised the litter helps so much with the smell and doesn't need to be changed frequently. I empty the cat boxes every two weeks and use the residue as mulch along a fence. NO urine smell in the mulch. I highly recommend Feline Fresh!
I got tired of walking on tiny pebbles of litter. The natural pine pellets were recommended to me by my brother and boy was I surprised! They are large enough to not get stuck in her paws so, less tracking, it smells pretty good and the litter box doesn't have to be changed as often as other litters. 100% would recommend!
First I tried paper bedding and thought it was ok. Next I tried pine shavings and it was so much better. Then I tried this and it's absolutely amazing! The pellets are dust free and hold a tremendous amount of liquid! Best of all, there is no urine odor!
This is the best cat litter for people sensitive to parfumed cat litters; it's all natural and naturally filters out litter box scents. It's the most like fresh pine. The only downfall I would say is that they are pellets, and not easily sifted through the scooper. I would definitely recommend trying this product if you're looking to exchange your litter for an all natural alternative kitty litter. 🐈⬛
When my life partner, a "cat whisperer" told me about this, I was shocked, to say the least. I cannot believe how much easier, how much more effective, and how much less expensive this is to use instead of traditional cat litter. Not to mention how much lighter than one of those buckets or boxes of traditional cat litter. Oh, and talk about a natural deodorizer. Now, if someone visits my home, unless they see one of my cats or one of the cat toys, they would not know I had cats, because there would be no smell of cat.
After reading many of the 1* reviews, it's clear that people need to research pine litter usage. When I got my cat, I started researching for a better litter. Clay litter DOESN'T break down? It sits in the landfill forever?? 😲😳🤯 Holy cow! So, a little extra work on my part, and I have repurposed the used sawdust (no cat poo ☠️!) ONLY on flowerbeds, not for vegetable beds. I watched several YouTube videos until I felt I had a good handle on it, transitioned her over slowly but adding the pine litter by one handful at a time. She also never buried her poops being a previous indoor/outdoor kitten. I have a scoop with small slats that helps me scoop up the wet sawdust. You can also buy a large one on Amazon and sift the sawdust from the large pellets over your bag. I did that before scooping daily. What a massive difference!! It takes all of 5 minutes. Sorry this turned into a tutorial. But ... in saying this, this litter does work in absorbing, and my cat uses the box. I don't notice an odor unless she uses it for what it's intended. I rarely see a pellet, and if I do, it's easy to pick up. There's no dust to track.
I loved this pine liter and used for my 2 cats. However after purchasing it today , I was putting it in my car and was reading the back of the bag and stumbled on the WARNING part and noticed it states it can cause CANCER! Say what?????!!!!!!! I just recently put down one of my cats because she had cancer! I am not saying this caused it but it made me think as I have been using it for several years ! I returned it today and will never buy this pine liter again!
My husband was shocked and said they took wood pellets and called it litter and sold it. Myself i was totally disappointed. The cats refused to use the boxes, luckily we keep plastic around the boxes, because they started going on the plastic. Tried mixing it with the clay clumping litter (i wanted to stop using because of health and dust), the pellets won't fall through the scoop, so wasting this expensive "litter" by having to throw away unused pellets with wet ones, poop sits there right on top, they wouldn't try to bury it, it was messy and just everything about it was a bad experience. Ordered 6. Opened 2. Got less back on each, than what we paid. Even have receipt were they took all 4 of the returned ones and refunded only 2 and when we looked at the receipt it showed they refunded 3 but paid us for 2 ( at a lower refund price). showed customer service, they saw it with their own eyes. had to refund us, the lesser amount, not what we paid, one bag at a time to make sure we even got back anything on each bag. back to using clumping clay litter.
I accidently ordered this bc I confused it with a competitive brand that I always use. packaging resembled product I was used to. It is NOT the same. when I opened the bag, it was already sand-like. it is horribly dusty. Don't be like me and order this instead of brand that works.
I received two bags of this pellet litter, as ordered, one of the two bags arrived tampered with. It was lighter in weight from the unopened bag. The preopened bag had been cut, used, the bag opening had been rolled closed and taped. Taking my chances, I used some of the pellets from the opened bag, mixed with the usual cat litter (as the instructions recommend) and my cat refused to go near the litter box to use it. I had to wash the litter box twice, and use only his normal litter, before he'd use his box again. I would not recommend. I don't know what to do with the unopened bag, but the bag that had been tampered with has since been thrown in the trash. Very disappointed in this experience.
