3 Pack: Floor Easel by Artist's Loft

I love how simple it is to adjust and set up. It is such a help on my back. I can paint for long periods of time without feeling strain on my back. I love the bottom support beam that has a little shelf to hold pencils and anything else that I might need. The height is perfect and can be adjust easily. It is lightweight, which makes transportation easy. I absolutely love my easel.

I loveeee this easel! iIt was so easy to put together (it took me like 15-20 minutes by myself) and I love that it's not super heavy so I can move it around my house. It doesn't take up a lot of space and has a lot of adjustments for different canvas sizes. I don't know where I'd be without this easel.

This easel provides a stable platform for even your largest canvases!It folds flat when not in use(can be shoved under a couch or bed,or propped flat against a wall.It was a bit taller than I expected,so putting it in my original location had to be revised.This is the second one of these I have purchased.A great product for the money!

This is a great and professional easel and it can also be used as a music stand. I also purchased the OttLite Easel lamp [corded electric] from Michael's for better illumination and attached it to the easel. I gave this a 4-star rating and not 5 because of the two snags in assembly which I fortunately was able to solve. Without these problems and once assembled, it is certainly a 5-star easel. What you will need to assemble the easel in addition to what was provided in the box: Medium Philipps head screwdriver. 1 sheet of coarse sandpaper [just in case]. 1 small magnet. Flashlight. At stage 6 [fasten (g) into upper brace (c)] there was a problem: (g) was too wide for (c) and I had to sand it down [mostly on the ends] until it fit and I could push/lightly hammer the top into the bottom all the way. It took about 15-30 minutes to do this. The next problem was at stage 10. The instructions do not adequately explain how to complete this stage. It took a lot of time to figure it out. For this stage turn the now almost complete assembled easel face down onto the floor with the 3rd leg raised up out of the way. [You will not be able to do this with the easel standing up.] Place a flashlight in front of the easel on the floor to illuminate the area. Carefully slide the bolts [complete one at a time] into the holes with the grove in the bolt aligned so that the hole in the bolt faces up and lines up with the hole in the wood into which you will be inserting the screws. The bolt may move out of position or go too far in and you will need the magnet to get it out and reposition it instead of turning the easel itself upside down to get the bolt out. Once the bolt is in position slide the screw in forcefully to get the screw to grip the bolt and then turn the screw clockwise with the Allen wrench supplied pressing down very hard. Once both screws are flush, screwed in completely, and in place you will be done!

PROS: It does what it's supposed to. It's fairly adjustable, collapsible, and more heavy/sturdy than cheap, lightweight metal easels. CONS: The instructions aren't particularly clear, I don't understand the inclusion of springs under the bolts. MISC: I'd definitely recommend using a drill during assembly as opposed to a screwdriver. The weight vs metal equivalents makes this a better stationary option as opposed to something lighter for travel/outdoor creatives.

I have not used this yet, but I can already tell this is sturdier than some other ones I've tried which is important to me. I agree from the other reviews that it was a little difficult to put together, but it wasn't too bad. I had a friend help me and we figured it out fairly quickly.

For it being 40% off at the time of purchase, I am happy with this easel. The directions were horribly written and don't have step by step, rather a web of instructions pointing to parts that were not clearly labeled. There were also some holes that were not drilled into parts that were supposed to have holes, so I had to drill those myself to complete assembly. I pretty much had to look at the picture to put it together when the instructions were unclear. After finally getting it together, it is fine, fairly sturdy, it will work for what I need it for. The top canvas "clamp" was a little lopsided making the positioning of canvases a little awkward, but I will make do. Overall, it's fine, a good easel for the price.

I would not buy this again. Assembly took a long time. But i was prepared for that part. Quality is not impressive. One of the slider pieces is cracking and splitting in half less than a year later with minimal use. Adjusting it is not smooth at all. I would say it's decent if you get it at least 50% off but I would rather put that money towards a higher quality option with better function & lasting quality.

Extremely disappointed with the quality control on this Artist Loft painting easel. My first box had to be returned because piece #3 would not fit into pieces #4 and #5 (the legs) at all. I went back to the store for a replacement, and even then we had to open two additional boxes just to find one where those parts actually fit together. Unfortunately, the problems didn't end there. Once I got to steps 4 and 6, pieces #6 and #7 would not slide onto rod #8 as instructed. These parts were clearly not manufactured correctly. What should have been a simple 30-minute assembly turned into an all-day ordeal. I literally spent hours filing down the pieces just to make them usable. For a brand-new product, this level of inconsistency is unacceptable. An easel shouldn't require tools, modifications, and multiple box swaps just to assemble. Between the wasted time, frustration, and poor fit of critical parts, this was a very disappointing experience. I would not recommend this easel unless you're prepared for serious assembly issues.

Item is defective. Two of the holes are the wrong size and we could not attach the last piece. I will have to bring the assembled easel back to the store to exchange it after a lot of time and effort to put it together. I had a carpenter double check, it is a manufacturer defect
