By for a bit too dark for me; but it did not violate my tastebuds. Seemed only a bit oily but my grinder had no issues with the beans. I found a medium fine through my AeroPress sweeter than pour over.

This dark Ethiopian coffee is our go to coffee full time. I am picky about my coffee and each batch starts in a burger grinder and is rude and a technivorm moccamaster. To me the taste is smooth and mellow and bold enough to have plenty of character. My wife prefers to drink lattes, but when she does drink mine, she has a fair amount of water. But hey, it's not MY fault that she was raised among the philistines.

The Dark Ethiopian blend was very fine, one pot and it's not gonna need much tweaking . The medium blend was not as rich but I have only made one pot and need to experiment. I have tried half and half blend of the beans but that too was not satisfactory just an okay pot of coffee. I think I will probably just stick to the dark roast.

Not what I would call a bold brew. It has a nice, earthy flavor of woody sticks with a hint of exotic citrus. Pleasant cup of coffee but the flavor seems more retiring than bold.
