Organic black Knight is a fantastic dark roast. I grind the beans with a medium roast to give me the perfect blend. It's never acidic, bitter or unpleasant. Kitty gives me the perfect coffee snob cup every time!

Yum! was leary of ordering this dark a roast; concerned about smoky flavor & bitterness neither of which i like. but Organic Black Knight Decaf (water processed) did not disappoint. at all! nice rich flavor without an unpleasant lingering aftertaste. will definitely order again!

This is the best organic, Swiss water processed decaf whole bean option I have found available at a reasonable price. Quality is consistent and I appreciate the offering of larger bulk quantities for a discount as we go through a lot of coffee in our home. Military discount is a bonus! FRC is our favorite source of clean organic coffee, both decaf and regular!

This is the roast my mom prefers, so I ordered it when she visited. I'm normally a latte drinker, and I tried Black Knight as a drip brew and loved it. The sweetness really comes through and balances the dark roast. I can't always detect “notes of…” in my coffee, but before looking at the package, I would have said I tasted caramel and sugar. I've added Black Knight to my regular order and am looking forward to delicious iced Black Knight this summer!
