I decided to try this based on recommendations for a smooth, low-acid coffee, and it did not disappoint! The flavor is excellent. What stands out most is the freshness.

FRC has caused me problems, i never realized that there were so many coffees both to like and dislike. I'm currently trying out the Dominician Republic's version of an island coffee, which Ireally enjoy. I just don't know the words as to why. It seems, a little smoother than the Mexician med. that I've enjoyed,also, next is the Haitian Blue.

We love the taste and quality of the roast. It's the staple coffee bean in our home. We use pour over and its perfect profile.

The first sip of this coffee took me back to my days in the Dominican Republic, sitting on my porch watching the sunrise over the ocean. Which is quite impressive as I've never been to the DR. I expected a polite little cup of coffee. What I got was a polite little cup of coffee with opinions. I brewed this as a drip brew, it came out clean and easy-drinking, with the low acidity and sweet, well-rounded flavor other reviews mention. Nothing sharp, just quiet sweetness in the background with a smooth, satisfying finish. The surprise was the body. I braced for something thin, "mild" style, and instead got real weight in the cup - not heavy or overbearing, just a little reminder from my cup saying "yes, I'm actually coffee and not tea". Bottom line: Easygoing, low-acid, and smoother than its "mild" label suggests, with more body than expected.

Great flavor: Low acidity; smooth, mellow, with hints of chocolate.

It is very good. My favorite is the Costa Rican coffee. But I really want to say what a wonderful coffee company. Dependable, excellent fresh coffee, reasonable prices. I ordered some coffee for my sister. Giving the quality of this coffee is a wonderful feeling

This was very good and exceeded any grocery store options by a wide margin. The medium roast placed it in the upper quartile of flavors and it's a low-risk option for starting your adventure with FRC.

It has a subtle but pleasant taste. I could taste the baked apple flavor note . There's a mild aftertaste and not too much acidity. The coffee has a nice balance to it. I would definitely get this one again. It's a very nice medium roast coffee.
