I'm not saying this Organic Sumatra roasted coffee changed my life… but, It is rich, smooth, and bold without punching you in the face. If you like coffee with low acidity, this is it. It smells so good brewing that I've caught myself just standing in the kitchen like it's aromatherapy. If you're looking for a cup that feels a little fancy but still gets the job done (aka turning you into a functional human), this is it. Highly recommend…

I love to use fresh roasted beans and grund my iwn. I get frrsh ground organic Sumatra med roast every 5 weeks. After trying a Corp chain coffee store or two, 2 other sunscription companies and Amazon, I found this place and have been using it for 3 years. I can add gift bags to give people, teas if I like, and damples to try. I love the points I can turn in for things like sampling new coffees. Their pricing has remained consistent and I don't feel ripped iff fir coro. profits. You can call them if you hzve a question and all the staff is really friendly and knowledgable.

I have come to love the Sumatra flavor. There is a richness to it!We buy coarse ground for a cold brewer. I love that I can also order half caff as it seems hard to find coarse ground that way. I would be saying extremely satisfied if it wasn't for the cost. I am aware that per pound it's not too much more than buying local. But once shipping is added it is a bit high especially for how often I buy as it's used more for larger sized iced coffee. Sadly I may have to start more research to make something else work. I prefer to order through Shop as it's quite easy but then it's harder to redeem points when I do get a discount as a member. Overall I enjoy the coffee and the service. Would happily continue to pay more but that is getting difficult.

This Organic Sumatra is reliably fresh and my everyday beans this winter but already looking forward to a warm spring and a roaster's choice or my usual Columbian

I typically buy light to medium roast, light to medium bodied coffee. From the first cup of pourover, the Sumatra was clearly bolder than I typically get. Overall, it's still a very nice cup. It's not overly bitter, and you can still taste the flavor of the beans, although I find it not to be quite as open as the light roast Kenya AA and Yirgacheffe roasts from FRC, which are my favorite. Overall, I still prefer the lighter bodied offerings from FRC, but if somebody is looking for something with a bit more body, the Sumatra might be a solid choice.

I don't drink your flavored with artificial ingredients. I buy Pete's no artificial flavors I got charged for deliveries when trying new beans and was a few dollars short only got refunded for one. I'm a loyal customer on auto and the system should see/adjust that. Website needs to be updated. Very hard to add or change order. When search whole beans it shows everything including gadgets

Once I learned that coffee was the world crop that more pesticides have sprayed upon it than any other, I decided to look into organic coffees. I asked FRC about pesticides in their non-organic coffees, but they did not deign to respond. I have ordered about half a dozen organic coffee samplers from FRC and if after seeing this review they allow me to review more, I will. My go-to was Guatemalan Huehuetenango. Medium roast, no bitter aftertaste, but not chocolate-y. This organic Sumatra is more forward, the taste is clean but it's a bit too acidic for my palate. Others may prize it for those qualities, but after I toil my way through the bag, I will not order any more.
