well i buy the baby food for my cat. i usually buy Delectables and gave him 2 tubes a day. He's about 14 yrs old and has lost a bit of weight, the baby food is 2.5 oz per jar, the Delectables is 1/2 an ounce per tube. i can give him 1/2 a jar a day saving some money. he loves it
I'm an elder (yeah, a senior!) and keep these little jars on hand to use as a quick pick-me-up when my energy begins to fail me. The Beef is tasty %26 nutritious, it's a protein pack, and fits the bill when I get peckish or going out! Oh, and the little jars come in hand to store nails, screws, sewing essentials, %26 odd bits. They're very easy to wash out!
My Vet recommended this for times when my Dog will not eat their food. I use this to give my Dogs their medicine. One of my dogs has to take daily meds that are large pills. It's hard for her to take it with something else like PNB. I had to get beef last time as she is allergic to chicken. She Loves the ham and now I have the beef as well. It is a thicker consistency so it helps disguise the pill.
Gerber beef has a delicious beef taste. It has a thick consistency coming out of the jar, so I soften it up a little by adding a tablespoon of boiling hot water. To sweeten it up, I add a packet of Sugar In The Raw. This is a great source of protein for me on my gastroparesis diet. I highly recommend Gerber beef!
Gerber beef and gravy , I feed this product to my cats they like it alot! and, I think it's very nutritional for them and sensitive on there tummies. I would recommend this product to all PET lovers
its hard to get the beef ,almost impossible actually! ive been looking for mths. what happened you finally have it? it limited me also! crazy to limit.baby food!!!
We use this for our cat that had eating issues after mouth surgery. He seems to like it ok and the Chicken Gravy is the only one he will eat. It works well with his other foods.
My wife uses this as a meat substitute for a finicky older cat who requires a bit more protein than he gets from most cat food. It seems helpful. His sister will eat unseasoned cooked chicken and unseasoned raw or cooked steak. We don't use this as a baby food.
I bought this brand of pureed Beef , because my usual brand ( Beechnut) was out of stock. I did not expect the thick texture —but I made it work. The taste seems OK. I've given it 3 stars, but I'm sure someone else will rate it 5 stars. Please try one, then decide. It may work for you.
I NEEDED THE BEEF Baby Food! THe shopper didn't care despite no substitutions selected. They just grabbed chicken, so instead of getting 12 beef, I got 4 beef and 8 chicken! baby doesn't like chicken! So annoyed! A
