(3 pack) Gerber Stage 2 Baby Food Puree, Chicken and Gravy, Meat Puree, 2.5 oz Jar

Purchased for an elderly cat that was sick. She ate some, thought she might regain some strength. She showed some improvement, but unfortunately, I did not start soon enough and she passed away. Vet had told me with an earlier cat to try the baby food.

I used this for a time as it was the only thing my senior cat ate. Is very good to have on hand for pets when they are sick or older and may need something softer for eating and easier to go down especially if spoon/ syringe feeding. All the furrbabes seem to dig it though and fight for a taste so must be good lol.

i sometimes buy this for my sister who fosters kittens. (we both used this brand for our now adult children) my sister uses this for sick kittens- especially those with digestive issues. the kittens like it and are able to keep it down. she also uses the Gerber rice ceral (box) and muxes in a few tablespoons if diarrhea is in issue.

I have 11 cats, 6 indoor and 5 outdoor. They are fed wet and dry food but will occasionlly get ill. When cats cannot smell their food, they will not eat. But, if I put the baby food (chicken, turkey or beef) in their bowl, they lap it up! I have to keep the other cats away because they want it also. Eating this as an occasional treat or when they are ill, makes me an acceptable cat Mom. (Cats are so picky at times...)

Low sodium food that worked to get my sick dog to eat when she had a bladder infection and was in antibiotics. She refused her favorite treat-foods like Greek yogurt and pineapple, and wouldn't even eat bone broth and boiled chicken so I had to get creative. I was so grateful to find this and that her vet recommended it. It worked so well. I hope she never gets sick again but if I ever know anyone who has a similar situation I will definitely recommend this to them. Worked so well. Can't be more grateful ☺️

My children are grown. I buy the baby food for my cat when he can't eat regular pate cat food because of jaw flare-ups. My main gripe is because of the shape of the jar, it's near impossible to get all the food out. A lot of the food is wasted, and nowadays, people can't afford it.

I have an older cat that does not have a good appetite anymore. As an alternative, my vet said jarred meat baby food is nutritious and a good alternative to tempt his appetite. Cat does like it and I switch back and forth between the baby food and his regular canned food.

I give this to my Dogs 🐶 I think they get tired of the same same every meal. Actually I had my Vet make the suggestion. It works GREAT after surgery or a stressful visit to see the Vet. My Girls are just getting used to this Vet. Just moved here about a year ago, their Vet was FANTASTIC, AMAZING. So they are having a hard time adjusting. They REALLY LOVE the Ham one.

I buy the Gerber's chicken %26 gravy for my cat(s). It's great for when their sick or if they have any issues with their teeth/ mouth! I have been unsuccessful at finding a cat " moose" or wet cat food of any kind with this consistency that they actually like and would eat. Being there only 2 options where I shop in the baby food, the other brand isn't smooth %26 creamy and my cats won't touch it so Berber it is! My only complaint and it's a big one is that almost every single jar I opened is curdled on the top and around the edges and a lot of times discolored. When I opened the 1st jar, I was taken back. I was thinking there's NO WAY I would give that to a real baby! I only gave it to my cat because I trusted the rest of the food in the jar once I got the top layer out AND a cat has such a keen sense of smell, my cats won't touch a food if it's not super fresh. Granted they are spoiled rotten but they are also very finicky so I trusted mine and my cat's instinct. Gerber really needs to look into this bc idk how in the world a mother could encounter this with every feeding and continue to purchase it. So, ... from a cat's point of view and a loving %26 devoted cat mom I give Gerber 2 ⭐⭐'s only bc of that. I have 2 out of 7 cats that really this baby food. I cannot in good faith recommend it and again, only bc the top layer is always curdled and keeping in mind it is "baby food". Otherwise, it is great! It's real bc the spoon and bowl is always greasy like a real chicken broth is.

I purchased this for my cat because I've never found a wet cat food she'll eat. I tasted it, and of course, it was awful. My cat sniffed it, looked at me, and jumped down from her food perch without even taking a bite. Mittens 🐈 gives this a thumbs down 👎.
