first of all I must tell you it wasn't for a baby. whenever I have a sick cat and they are not eating well or refusing to eat I get Gerber baby food and they cannot resist the smell and the taste and they begin to eat. it literally has saved so many lives. I know that's not the intended purpose but I guess you'd call it multi-use. I thank you that you have such a pure and amazing product that even a sick feline cannot refuse! and once they start to eat that's the first step to their recovery. I've mentioned this to a lot of friends and neighbors that have lost pets because they refuse to eat and couldn't get them to. I stand by this, it has worked miracles and literally saved many lives for fur babies.

Okay so this is not going to be your normal baby food review. I did get the food for a baby, but not a human. An orphaned baby raccoon however thinks this stuff is awesome. He made an absolute mess but he was thrilled to do so. He ate it all and begged for more. Yes, Gerber turkey and gravy baby food is raccoon approved.

I used this for a time as it was the only thing my senior cat ate. Is very good to have on hand for pets when they are sick or older and may need something softer for eating and easier to go down especially if spoon/ syringe feeding. All the furrbabes seem to dig it though and fight for a taste so must be good lol.

I have used Gerber baby food for for many, many years with my children and grandchikdren and have ALWAYS had great success with it. When I became involved in cat and kitten rescue and fostering, Gerber Stage 2 baby food, Turkey and gravy became my "go to" for cats and kittens who would eat nothing else or had to be fed with a syringe when they were very ill and needed nurishment. Gerber Stage 2 baby food Turkey is perfect for such an occasion and even approved by my various vets. It's soft, and tasty, you can thin it down enough to put in a syringe and feed it to sick cats and kittens easily and they love it. It's also very cost effective and healthy. I have nursed many very sick cats and kittens back to health using Gerber Stage 2 Turkey baby food. I highly recommend it and I ALWAYS have a couple of jars in my pantry.

We purchase the Chicken %26 Turkey, using this for the Orphaned Newborn Feral Kittens who are transitioning from Kitten Formula to Wet food. This Gerber Food provides them with the nutrients they need to grow into strong healthy kitties. Their coats are shiny, %26 vet checks reveal all normal weight gains. We feed a lot of kitties, even some of our Geriatric Cats are fed Gerber as they need the Nutrients, just wish it were more reasonable in cost for us as we use so much of it and go through so much!! I personally use Gerber Stage 2 Baby Food, Turkey and Gravy Jars for my cats and pups when they are under the weather and they LOVE it! I have tried them and they have a really good taste and they smell delicious. If I had a baby, I would definitely buy these but since I don't...my fur babies eat them. They are super handy to have and give when you are in a hurry.

I use this for my diabetic 17 year-old kitty. It's much less expensive than Churu for putting on top of food to get him interested, and it seems to be a good reward after he gets his insulin injection. It would be better if it were just plain meat and water, however, without the cornstarch. The turkey, beef, and chicken varieties also work well for grandpa kitty.

I know it sounds funny at 65 to be going back to eating baby food, but it's my easy way to get some protein in, and honestly, it tastes good and has a nice consistency. The portions are small, but they're perfect for snacking. It is a little pricey, and I really feel for young families because this could add up fast with little ones, but for the quality you're getting, it's fine as an occasional buy if you can afford it. I like the turkey the best, but the chicken and ham are tasty too — just a bit drier in texture. For me, it works, and it hits the spot.

We use this as a topper for our dog's dinner, we prefer another brand that has broth instead of gravy. It was a substitute for the brand we normally use.

We bought this for our elderly dog who has stomach troubles. We usually buy the gerber chicken and gravy baby food but it was out of stock. So we decided to try the turkey baby food, its close to chicken right? No.... Our dog sniffed this turkey baby food, looked at me like I betrayed her, and walked away. She refused to eat it. Our two other dogs walked over and took a sniff. Also walked away. This was a waste of money for us.
