I used it on rotini pasta and it tasted great. I don't really drown my pasta in alfredo sauce, instead I just add a light coating, so for me I think this works great as a cheaper alternative to the big brands. Couldn't really tell a difference to be honest. It made a good meal with some added chicken, cheap italian seasoning, and salt.

What I like most about Great Value Alfredo Pasta Sauces is they do not contain all the nasty ingredients of the name brands and the FLAVOR IS SUPERIOR!!! Even tastes better than Italian restuarants. This sauce sticks to the pasta. Try it, you will really be impressed!

I load my pantry with these. Very tasty and gr8 $$$. Empty the jar in a prep dish and use boiling pasta water 1-2 tbls. in the jar, shake and pour in with the rest of your prep dish. Uses all the contents of the jar and adds slight thickening from the starch rich water. Really get ur $$$ worth :)

But I bought this to try a recipe I saw online. Tomato sauce mixed with Alfredo sauce, chicken, and pasta of your choice. It was pretty good actually.

Terrible flavor; I would make my own alfredo in the future, as it simply is not that difficult. I mixed the 4 cheese with the garlic alfredo sauce and it simply is not good. I adore GV garlic basil marinara and always keep it on hand, but will never purchase the alfredo again.

I'd give it no stars if I could and still give a written review. It was awful. When I opened the jar it smelled weird, sour. But I thought it must just be me, not the sauce. I put some on freshly cooked spaghetti that I just made. After about a bowl of spaghetti with sauce my stomach started to ache and cramp and got worse. To the point to where I could hardly breathe. This continued for several hours, but thankfully did go away. It was an awful experience that I hope no one else has to go through.

all the great value Alfredo sauce products in jars SUCK. Whether it's the smell, taste or thickness of the sauce, don't waste your money please. You work too hard for what you have to eat something that will tear up your stomach, your gut, and your wallet eventually.
