If you like standard luncheon meat, this is a great twist. The bacon flavor gives it a nice, smoky kick that pairs really well with eggs and hash in the morning. It slices easily and crisps up great in a skillet. It's a nice budget-friendly pantry staple. Definitely keeping some cans in the pantry.
GV Bacon Flavored Lunch Meat is a staple in my pantry. Can be fried to a crisp just like bacon %26 served with eggs, home fries, cubed %26 fried %26 added to Mac %26 Cheese, sliced %26 fried %26 make a BLT like sandwich. Diced small %26 add to macaroni salad, I like it cubed fried %26 serve over buttered green beans %26 served over white rice, mayo %26 Bragg's amino. cubed %26 used in a chef's salad.I also fry thin slices %26 put in a tortilla to make wraps w/mayo. Or, fry %26 add refried beans, cheese, to make burritos. Many ways to prepare. Price is right compared to name brands, so, you can make a meal for a family for $2.00! I recommend
We can and do with these luncheon loaves by Great Value. We don't just use the Meat, Rice and Nori wrap sheets (thin dried seaweed). We add all kinds of things making our Musubi, making them different every time by imbedding, sauses, cheese, vegetables, seasonings, and more, into the rice. I'm primarily not a rice fan (better if it's brown rice/whole grain rice) but, doing these with the variety of items that can be added, I'll put up with the white rice. … Nuff Sayd
Great product, better than name brands in my opinion. However price increases lately are a bit concerning. Must be Tariffs or Iran war fault, never unstable economy lol
Great value much meat with bacon flavor is very delicious. Taste good. The texture is good and the price is very good. Thank you all for selling such a reasonable price.
My second choice for Great Value Luncheon Meat. First is the less sodium version. Both have way less salt than original version, but still all pork, no chicken. You won't miss the salt, and it still has that classic taste.
I just love this candle lunch and meat. It is very nostalgic for me. My mom used to when I was a young girl growing up. They had just come out with as a mom would fry it up with eggs for my dad in the morning and a kids. We really enjoyed it and I still enjoy it today . Bon appétit.
This Great Value luncheon meat is affordable and tasty. I purchased this canned food to feed a meal per family, send them overseas to help the poor family. Thank you to Walmart great value products its affordable and same taste as brand name product.
No bacon flavor, no real flavor at all. For potted meat it wasn't even that salty, something I was looking forward to. I suggest buying a name brand if you really want flavor.
The great value spam is a no go !! This honestly is the worst tasting item I have ever tried !! I remember when I was younger , my mom used to cook spam and it would brown on both sides !! This spam does not brown and it's very salty !! Please don't waste your money buying this item !! I am All for GREAT VALUE , but this one isn't worth it ! I wouldn't feed this to an animal !!! I will not purchase this again !!
