Cookies and moo juice are the best, and Walmart keeps me stocked up. It's a love hate relationship though, I love the cookies and moo juice, but as they say, once on the lips, forever on the hips. And now I need new pants, wait, did Walmart plan this?
These are balance in sweetness and in number of chips. The texture is chewy ; neither crumbly nor rubbery. I like to store them in the freezer apoortioned for freshnes sand firmness . They're great in lunches, beverages or as a base for mini ice cream sandwiches
I actually like these better than name brand cookies. They taste good , are fresh and dont have that wierd oily taste. I buy them all the time. Not because they are cheaper tho thats always a winner but because of the taste. The pkg is not as handy to close . once you open them put them in a baggy or covered leftover bowl. stays fresh all week.
The packaging of the Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookies was colorful and pictures of the cookies helped me to make the decision to buy them. When I opened the package the cookies were in a plastic tray standing upright. I have two cookies to my husband and he truly enjoyed the chewy texture and flavor and asked me to buy them again!
Very good chocolate chip cookies, better than name brands, although they've gone up in price a lot since covid. We like chewy cookies, which these are MOST of the time. A couple of times/year, for some strange reason, we'll get a bag that is VERY dry/crunchy %26 tastes old/stale, despite being in date %26 not past the expiration date. Quite strange. Hence, the 4 rating .
The chocolate chips have good flavor! And their texture is easy to chew. I've had some off brands that the chips were like rocks. I prefer this cookie over the major brand because it is not as sweet tasting. However it is a little tough when biting into it. And too small... makes it easy to eat too many! I can put away a whole pkg in 24 hours...lol.
My teeth are in wretched condition so I usually pop four cookies into the microwave for about eight seconds, and despite the higher price, I'd go with soft Chips Ahoy over this. These simply don't soften as well, and it is a step down in terms of taste. Still recommended but second choice for me.
I'm not sure who's making the cookies for Walmart. I have an idea, but I'm not gonna say. But they've been as hard as bricks lately. And there's nothing to open the package easily. You need something to open the package. But I haven't been buying them lately because I don't like steel-cut cookies.
bought these since they were cheaper than the chips ahoy cookies. i like the price and i like that this is an option for folks on a budget (like me) but the taste was just a miss. they weren't as soft and moist as the other brand and the taste was off.
For chewy biscuits these were pretty dry, even though they were kind of chewy. In addition, Walmart should improve their packaging material . Whenever you open a Walmart brand cookie package they tear from one end to the other. I would've returned these cookies, but we were in a national park and, well any cookies better than no cookie .
