I purchase these cookies for my mother. She calls them the black and which sandwich cookies. Lol. These cookies had just the right amount of cream in between the sandwich. And not too sweet. Because they are great value brand ppl think it maybe skimpy on the filling but nope. Just like the name brand
Tasty and fresh, good value. Vanilla and chocolate flavors in one. Generous amount of cookies. I would buy them again. The package tray kept the cookies in good condition.
These cookies are a big hit in our home! All three kiddos love em! They are delicious and fun to eat, that's what the kids told me. I like the price. You get a lot of snacks for your $. These are 100% kid approved!
Very fresh, not hardened and not soft. There were more cookies in the package than I expected. There were no broken cookies and no fragments in the package. The cream filling was 20% too thick for me, but it was solid and not crumbly and not. Although , it was one of the cheapest cookie packages - it was very good value do to the number of cookie in the package and freshness and quality of the cookies. I will buy again.
they're unfortunately not tasting as much as they use to the cookie itself and the fillings inside lacking a lot of good taste (l drown each in coffee or find something else milk does not work best but duable if not having coffee. Been doing it for awhile hoping it was just my taste buds but the others don't have that effect on me thank goodness.
The chocolate half of the cookies is rather bland. Given how borderline tasteless the cookie is, an additional amount of center filling would be helpful. The vanilla half is essentially edible if matched with another vanilla half and each vanilla half has most of the filling after removing the bland brown-colored half. These cookies are barely edible if not "doctored" severely.
I tasted the chocolate side but not the vanilla. I couldn't taste the creme at all. They were crunchy but small; very small. I understand that products change over time but this is a bit extreme. I will just keep getting the iced oatmeal cookies from now on.
I expected - flavor. These had none. No chocolate or vanilla flavor, just sugar. I will need to look to something else as I assume the chocolate version uses two dark wafers and the vanilla version uses two pale wafers. Nothing has any flavor. I may give lemon a try...
My husband likes a different brand of cookies that look like this one. So one day I bought these instead of the ones I normally buy. No one in my house was happy with these. My husband complained they tasted bad. My two year old who normally sneaks cookies, refused to touch them and my older children wouldn't eat them. We opted to trying to let our dogs have one or two and even they wouldn't eat them.
Had a bad smell and taste looked okay and date was fine but I wasn't trusting the smell and taste of the cookies.. literally brand new just bought them and they smelled horrible like burnt rubber or something! so strange never happened before hopefully it was just a bad batch…
