This is hands down my favorite cereal. Perfect balance of sweet and crunchy, and it holds up well in milk without getting soggy too fast. It's one of those cereals that's just consistently good every time. I also snack on it straight out of the bag, it's that good. For me, this is one I always keep stocked.
I grew up eating frosted flakes most of the time as a kid. As time went on I found out these have the same taste, texture and crunch that the other breakfast cereals had with a better price. Kids will love them if they enjoy frosted flakes. I keep some in a bag and use as a snack during the day. Nice bite size flakes in every spoon full. if you let sit in a bowl of milk yes they will get what we call soggy just like any brand will. Trust me after I finish the first bowl, I usually add a little more to the remaining milk before I drink the milk and enjoy the little sweetness added to the milk after the cereal is gone.
This looked like Frosted Flakes taste like Frosted Flakes but isn't quite as light as them the great crunch comes with the expense of bite resistance. It's a bit harder than the original but works fine for the teenagers who aren't brand loyal anymore. Give it sparingly to soft tooth children and the elderly unless you give it a brief soaking in milk. Then it's for any age group. I contemplate buying the original for comparison and a peace of mind just to make sure I'm not crazy or misremembering my youth but these prices are cray yall. Enjoy your unhealthy grains the way all of us do, with a denial that you'll be hungry again two hours from now. Peace be with you dear nation.
A decent alternative to Frosted Flakes, but for those who adhere to nutritional facts, here's some missing information that isn't included in the online screenshot: - Sodium 150mg: 7% - Includes 14g Added Sugars: 28% - Iron 4.9mg: 25% - Thiamine 0.37mg: 30% - Riboflavin 0.49mg: 40% - Niacin 5.7mg: 35% - Folate 115mg DFE: 30% (70mcg folic acid) - Pantothenic acid 2.1mg: 40% - Vitamin B6 0.49mg: 30% - Biotin 17.6mcg: 60% - Vitamin B12 0.86mcg: 35%
I love Frosted Flakes,But they're a lil to pricey for me so I went with the next best and that the great value brand and they taste amazing.THERE GREAT…🤣
Overall the GV frosted flakes are decent. We opt for the corn syrup free option which is listed in the ingredients picture of this product, however on the received box, this is the corn syrup version which is the wrong description on the product page. This is a bit misleading for those trying to avoid things like corn syrup. It is good however that there a cheaper bulk price which saves us money in the long run.
These tasted fine, but some pieces were very hard. They did not turn soft quickly in milk, so that may be a plus or minus for you. I didn't like how hard some of the flakes were, so would not buy again.
I really wanted to like these because Frosted Flakes are expensive. The texture is a bit different but still good. It's the sweetener that was a no go for me. I tried, I really did but ended up tossing the whole box after a couple of bowls. My kids didn't like them either. If you don't mind the kind of sweetener they use, they'd be great!
Everything changed about this item except the price. The taste is artificial, it is hard to bite and becomes dry and tasteless. I bought it foe years since it cost less and taste like brand name frosted flakes. I would not sacrifice taste and enjoyment for the price. Walmart please be honest with your consumers and do not try to fool us. This item is not good at all. I would not buy again 😒
I made myself a bowl of cereal and as soon as I took a bite I looked into my bowl before I took my next bite and there little black bugs crawling around in it! I gagged after seeing those bugs! The cereal itself was very hard and didn't taste right. It was very traumatic! I will never buy cereal from Walmart again! O. M. G. 👎🏼
