I actually order the glacier ranch tortilla chips as a first choice and Doritos cool ranch second if not in stock. Not a substitute, just more pleasing to my taste. I’m impressed with the great value brand quality. Is it me, or has the quality been improving. Delicious!
Great Value Glacier Ranch Tortilla Chips are a frosty flavor avalanche packed into a 9.75 oz bag of pure, crunchy brilliance. Imagine your favorite ranch dressing took a snowmobile to Flavor Mountain—that’s the Glacier Ranch experience. Each chip is boldly dusted with cool, zesty ranch seasoning, delivering that addictive tangy bite that keeps you dipping, snacking, and straight-up devouring. They're sturdy enough to scoop salsa, elite with queso, and perfect for solo missions straight from the bag. Affordable, flavorful, and dangerously snackable—this is ranch with attitude.
My 4yr old %26 I prefer these ranch tortilla chips to the leading brand. The crunchiness is fabulous, and the flavor is superb without all the excess that the other brand has. Unless you want to have the thick gooey coating on your fingers, lips etc, buy these!
Tastes just like the name brand, in my opinion, and you couldn't tell the difference if they were poured in a bowl. I might not be the best palated-connoisseur, but if you're buying Great Value brands, you probably aren't terribly concerned with having the absolute best stuff in the world, either. Recommended.
These ranch tortilla chips are a close second to the more expensive brand. I like to use them in place of crackers as a crunchy topping on casseroles. They are good with ranch dip as well as queso. On rare occasion some of the chips are crumbled at the bottom, but it's not substantial. Overall, these are crisp, zesty, and are highly addictive.
The Galcier Ranch potato chips were a huge hit for an afternoon snack. I glad to have narrowed down the flavor that is tangy and enriched in seasoning to get the exact taste. The chips are crunchy. The chips are flavorful. The chips are medium size and triangular. The potato chips can be brought in small, medium, and large size bags. Also, the potato chips are not pricey they can brought for less that $1, $2, and $10. Thank you, Walmart.
These are just as good as name brand for half the cost. My family likes to eat these in taco salads, casserole, and just general snacking. I have switched to this brand because we cannot justify spending over $5 for the name brand.
My son has always loved Doritos Ranch flavored chips. We've been trying to save money so, I started buying these in place of those. He's not complaining. He still loves these.
They have a unique flavor. Don't expect Doritos Cool Ranch flavor, but something similar, yet different and unique, but tasty. They crunch a little firmer than Doritos, I believe because they are either cooked differently or they are slightly thicker. Overall they are the best generic Doritos alternative I can find.
great crunch! nice texture, chews up quite easily. the problem is with the seasoning....these are seriously deficient. they could easily advertised as 'lightly seasoned'. i dunno why walmart won't just take that extra step, and quit skimping on the seasoning. if they would shower them with flavor., and more flavors to the line up...at this price, i would absolutely choose them over doritos!!!! ...there wouldnt be any reason to spend over a dollar more per bag.
